I Cannot Think Of What To Write Helppppppp!
The Old Writers Block Strikes Again
Anybody been in that place.
That time when you knew you wanted to post a blog here on Wealthy Affiliate or add content to your own site and you could not think of anything to write about.
You sat at the computer and stared at the screen.
You take a pad and pen and went to sit in your easy chair, no luck.
Thinking of words and building a mind map off of the keywords it didn't work.
You decided to read something on the Internet to see if it would spark something.
Nothing
Zip
Nada
With a little preparation you can avoid that. Here is just one way to get ideas of what to blog about.
If you notice I ask questions on here all the time. Many times they are questions that other people don’t normally ask.
Like

What I am doing with those questions is making sure that I have something to blog about that people are interested in. If you ask a question and you get answers to that question you know someone is interested in that subject.
You can do this in any niche.
At the end of your post ask a question. The answers will always give you at least one more blog post. Even if one person answers the question. The neat thing do this also gets you more comments that helps with SEO.
It can not be a question that is easily answered with a yes or no. You want a question that the answer takes more than that.
You now have peoples attention because people want to hear what other people are saying.
If you watch the comments on your blog many times people will ask a question that can be a blog post.
If you go to other forums in your niche and look at questions asked there you will find things to blog about.
Here on Wealthy Affiliate I get blog post from questions asked on a post I wrote. It is kind of a self generating process when you look at the comments looking for an idea. One post leads you on to the next one because of what is said in the comments

One last thing as I am sure someone is sitting there thinking, "What questions do I ask."
Two things you could ask about is what you want to know more about or asking them what they want to know more
You do that and there will be a post for you to write.
Remember a question that can not be answered with a yes or no.
You should have known there would be test at the end. He He He!

Here is one place to do it http://www.gif-mania.net/animated-signatures/ Then you download it and add it to whatever you are writing just like any other picture. Since it is a gif it shows the neame being written. WaLa
Makes sense...ask a question...blog the answer...and ask another question...and blog another answer...and on...and on...and on.
That's the "neverending story" of blogging!

Yes Jim it can be the neverending story and always have something to blog about. What I like about it is that if at the end of a blog post you ask a question you get a lot more comments and get to find ideas for blog post. Win Win

Yes I installed it so that I could make sure that you drew that caricature of me you mentioned. My luck now you will find the camera and take it out.
At my age teaching what I have learned over the years to others brings me great joy. There have been more then one party that I have been to where I had helped someone quit their job. That is something I really enjoy.

About that camera, I suspect my cats. 2 of them are staring at me.

I tried that before and it did open up lots of comments and ideas to write about. Even a few questions that I got answers to here at WA, still need to put articles for a few of those.
Glad that WA keep those questions in you profile page. Thank you for this tip.
I use alphabet soup method in jaaxy or just start drilling down within jaaxy for more ideas. Sometimes I also look in Pinterest boards to get ideas related to what I am already doing.
So far I have not has this problem using these methods. But I’m sure it will happen one day.

Well if it does here is a trick you can use. It is interesting that even on my blogs the post that are off questions tend to get more traffic.

Thanks Bo, what an amazing idea. With the niche I selected, I was running out of ideas. A simple thing like asking a question can open the mind to a whole new array of ideas. Thanks for the information and the inspiration.
