If someone asked you, what exactly is Wealthy Affiliate about for a beginner, what would you say? My answer to this question is below and it is one that I have used repeatedly when asked.

Before I give you my answer, I think it is important to mention another answer that I am sure many of you have used, which I feel is a bit misleading. Do you think WA is a money making opportunity?

INTERPRETATIONS CAN BE MISLEADING

I can understand why some may answer that question and say that Wealthy Affiliate is a money making opportunity. However that is not totally correct. Sure you can make some money, but not what people expect.

When the majority of people hear that WA is a money making opportunity, they could think that there is a cookie-cutter formula, that when followed will generate an income and thus you get paid.

You need to keep in mind that there are a ton of online scams that promote their money making opportunities, yet falls far short of delivering. That being the case, you do not want others to think that WA is yet another.

The question I asked at the beginning remains. What exactly is Wealthy Affiliate about? It is an Online Education Platform, an internet university where members can learn everything about starting an affiliate marketing business.

Did you know that WA is also known as Wealthy Affiliate University? That's what certain people were calling it when I joined back in August of 2013, and that is a fitting name for a platform based mainly on education.

IS WEALTHY AFFILIATE UNIVERSITY LEGIT?

Without a doubt...YES! Wealthy Affiliate is not a money making opportunity in the sense that most people would think it is. Wealthy Affiliate is an online education platform that teaches you how to make money online.

The training here is relatively easy because it is a Step-By-Step approach that allows its members to move forward at their own pace. There are no deadlines or courses that need to be completed within a specific time frame.

If you take a course lesson and do not quite grasp it, you can keep taking it again until it makes sense, and then you move on to what comes next. Unlike many other universities, there is NO penalty for falling behind.

The only real downside is your ability to get started in making money. However it is better to know what you need and arrive late, than move forward not knowing the ins and outs of having a successful online business.

To successfully make money online in a real legit way, will always take some time and effort. There is no lasting quick way of doing it, which is why the training at WA works. As proof, I will show you my results in my next blog.

WE ARE ALL BEGINNERS WHEN WE START

This is proof that anyone who has a desire to make money online, whether it is promoting WA, another affiliate program or both, can make it work with just the Online Entrepreneur Certification course.

Now I realize not everyone is like me, and many will require further training to feel more comfortable in moving forward. However, if you are not afraid of failing, can be creative and dedicated to succeed, you can make it work.
