Never Stop Seeking Your Financial Freedom

Too often I have seen many members who have joined Wealthy Affiliate, leave the platform after only a couple of years. Why do these members leave so soon?

I realize that sometimes life can change on a moments notice and family matters need to be addressed first and foremost. I understand situations like that.

However, if you came here to seek a better financial future for yourself, is leaving before getting close to your goal a good idea? I would inject a NO here for this reason.

SUCCESS IS OFTEN CLOSER THAN YOU THINK

How long does it take to build a skyscraper of 100+ floors like the Empire State Building in NYC? You cannot just start adding floor on top of floor without planning.

I remember when I first started here back in 2013, Kyle compared the building of our affiliate marketing businesses to the building of a skyscraper. You start with a foundation.

The training here at Wealthy Affiliate IS that foundation. You cannot earn income without traffic coming to your website and you can't gain traffic without knowing how.

Everyone will experience financial success at different times, it is not a one-size fits all. You need the education first to properly set in motion the growth of your business.

Another thing to consider is your reliance on the search engines indexing and ranking your content. This process takes time and that time varies from website to website.

There are too many variables that all have to play out and in their own time, for you to see results. It's like a snowball rolling down a hill. It starts small but grows bigger.

The important thing to remember is, everything positive that you do, will have a cumulative effect on your success. Your big financial break can be right around the corner.

QUITTERS NEVER WIN

If you start something as important as building your own business, don't walk away because you haven't made any money only two years into your journey. It takes time.

It all depends on how well you learn and how well you apply what you have learned. The main take away is to not quit! Change, adapt and refocus, but never quit.

Remember, you started this Wealthy Affiliate journey to achieve financial security with your own business. Don't quit because you never know how close you really are.

Love the image Robert an old one and used many times myself. Yet it is still true and to the point on quitting before you give it some more time. Patience certainly is a virtue but so is pushing through with a positive mindset.

Wishing you a wonderful, safe and Happy New Year my friend.

Yes, it is an old image and I too have used it many times. Like you said, it is still true and to the point of why we should never quit on our quest for financial success, no matter how small or big that success is.

I was going to wish you a happy, safe and prosperous 2026 hours ago, because you are 16 hours ahead of me here in the New York area. However, I went to sleep after coming home from work and just woke up.

May you Andre and your family have a healthy, prosperous and happy 2026!

Robert

Thank you Robert hope you slept well. Yes enjoy the new year and as always keep moving forward.

Hi Robert
Great insight, appreciate you writing. I had been in WA before, but life happened, now, you know what I recognize the timing wasn't right, I had so many different things happening, distractions if that what you want to call them, that made it difficult to focus on what is an excellent platform for financial independence.
For NOW is the right time.
Thanks for sharing, Cheers ^_^

Thank you Paul for your comment!

We all have a time that will be different than others but the one thing we all should share is the commitment to never quit. Sure, we may need to put things on hold for a while, but don't quit.

When one quits they stop and nullify any gains the made the first time through and have to start over. I stepped away from WA for a couple of years to better focus on my niche, but I kept my membership going.

Besides I am not a quitter, not anymore, like I was when I was young and inexperienced. Do I sometimes procrastinate? Sure I do. However, I never procrastinate to the point of quitting.

Hi Robert, lol

Procrastination is everyone's bane, it something we will never get rid off We just have to keep fighting with it everyday.

Actually if you look at it positively, it's actually great motivation, because you know it's there waiting slow you down, waiting to impede your progress,

And as none of us are men of steel like superman, its our own version of kryptonite. We just have to keep on trucking.

Thanks for sharing, Appreciated, Cheers ^_^

3

Good point! And I like the kryptonite analogy. Have a great New Year!

Ohh I love how some of these article resonate loudly. financial independence needs to become a routine we all teach children. Like brushing teeth, setting time for focused thoughts or action towards pursuing your own contribution to our society that has nothing to do with helping someone else's execute on their vision, should be part of our daily routine.

3

I'm happy you enjoyed my post Linda.

The "never quit" mindset is what one must have, especially when starting something new, that can lead to financial stability if not outright freedom.

It's not easy but it can be achieved if we just keep pushing forward.

Robert

πŸ™I agree, I receive this message and I am on it

1

All the best to you on your journey!

Great post, financial freedom and work-life balance are what I have always wanted since I joined the platform. Unfortunately, I have never been willing to put in enough work to make it happen. I have made more progress, this time, non-monetary (so far) than I ever have before. I feel like this is going to be the time I will succeed.

Never quit!

Love that final image!

3

Like you, I have made more progress this last year than I ever did before. A new year is about to start - and you WILL succeed. πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

3

So will you!!

😊Thank you!

You're welcome.

Financial success happens at different times and at different levels for everyone. Some people work hard for one year and they start earning some people work hard for two years and then start earning.

Then sometimes the earning itself isn't steady. You can be doing really well with a particular niche because the product is hot at the time, but may cool off in the future. This is why two niche sites are better than one.

Regardless of the outcome, it always requires a steady focus of effort in the beginning. Like the image above about "Entrepreneurship" says, you have to be willing to live a few years like most people won't" to make it big.

May 2026 be the year you make it big!

Robert

2

I know what that is like. I did well with one of my first niches back in 2015 to about 2018 when I had things happen in my life that slowed things down. Then I had a new niche in 2022 and things have really gone well since.

2

Yes, I have been very realistic with my outlook this time around. While I would love for this to be my full-time income, I understand that if it happens at all it is most likely a long way down the road. I would honestly be content with any amount of extra income it could provide at this point in time.

And as you have suggested, the internet is a fickle beast.

I do have plans for a second site, to double my opportunities so to speak. Just not quite ready to split my time yet.

Working hard to make 2026 my year.

3

My advice to you about that second website, DO NOT start it until you get the first one going. That is the mistake I made with my first two niche sites. It's a mistake many people make when first starting here.

After those first two died out, it was my third niche sites, which I focused solely on, that made me a really nice second income to my then current job.

Then not long ago I stepped away from being active here within WA, so I could focus on my new niche. Now that I'm doing well in that niche I am back to being active here. So yes, don't split your time yet on that second niche site.

3

Yes, I made that mistake in my previous attempts, split my attention in two and got nowhere. So I will definitely be taking that advice. The second idea will remain just that for the forseeable future.

3

Good choice! May your 2026 be fruitful in your approach and in your goals.

3

The same to you!

3

This time around I am working hard and I am enjoying the work, but with so many opportunities opening up and everything looking interesting, I now have more projects - websites and books - than I have time for. So in 2026 I want to get the two books published that are close to being finished so that I am not spreading myself too thin. I am fortunate that none of it needs to provide me with an income, and fortunately the domain renewals are being taken care of by my cash credits.

3

I really like the Cash Credits perk we now have. For me it further helps with my yearly membership.

Then the perk to create logos and images for other people to use on their websites, is another opportunity I am looking into. 2026 is shaping up to be a great year here at WA.

In regards to all you want to get done, in 2026, may the wind be at your back to push you through.

2

Thank you very much - yes, if all goes well the cash credits may well pay for my membership here too.

It's nearly midnight here, and I plan to make a good start to 2026.

1

All the best to you Isabella!

Many thanks! :-)
