Here is Proof Success Can Be Achieved at Wealthy Affiliate

We members here at Wealthy Affiliate, WA, see various types of success stories being posted here within the community on an almost daily basis. Just recently both Loes and Tony Hamilton posted their versions of success blogs about getting referrals.

I thought I would join the bandwagon. Here is proof success can be achieved at Wealthy Affiliate by just taking the training and acting on what you learn.

SUCCESS COMES IN DIFFERENT WAYS

Every person can rightfully so have their own definition of what success means. Though many attribute a monetary value to that word, success does not have to mean about making money.

For instance, though getting referrals to WA is a form of success, it does not make you money unless that referral takes action.

There are basically three steps a referral must take before you can earn money, actually only two. NOTE, you must be a Premium Member to get these amounts.

1. They must first become your referral by accepting your Invitation to join WA
2. They must complete their profile by adding a picture and a description. This earns you $1.00
3. They must upgrade to Premium. This earns you $8.00 for the 1st month and $23.50 recurring each month after the first.

There is also one other way for you to earn money from a referral inside WA and that is if they purchase their domain name from WA and not some other outside domain registrar. This purchase will result in a $1.00 commission per domain name.

Then there are other monetary ways of success being achieved here with members of the WA community. There are thousands of others who are making a lot of money from their own niche websites, being affiliated with Amazon and thousands of other online retailers.

For instance, I make money being affiliated with a top-notch training and resource directory for those who want to learn and earn the proper way of Drop Shipping on eBay, Amazon and/or ecommerce. I also affiliate with PPC sites, a Survey site that actually does not disqualify you, a fashion site, and through health and wellness products.

The WA training will help ALL of us to achieve various levels of success. You cannot reach your goals without working hard to get there. Though it does not have to be through the WA Affiliate Program, the following will be based on that. So let us see if the Premium Referral Stats are true.

MAKING MONEY WHILE YOU SLEEP

When you are part of the WA Affiliate Program, which is free to all members and does not require you to have a Bootcamp website, you can make money while you sleep. And because the cookie set on all of your referrals is for a lifetime, you can gain Premium commissions on a referral that joined years prior.

Not only is it joyful to check your email and see Invitation Accepted!, knowing you got another person to take that first step to join WA, but it is even more exciting to see that you have earned money. All of the emails that begin with the words Congratulations! and Congrats!, as seen in the above image, are the ones that matter the most.

These are the emails that reflect those referrals who have actually completed those three steps I mentioned at the beginning of this post. These are the referrals that will help you to reduce your Las Vegas goal number, represented by the B&W airplane icon at the top of this screen. But is the Premium Referral Conversion Rate correct?

WHAT THE WA AFFILIATE PROGRAM SAYS

On your WA Affiliate Program Details page it will say that the Conversion Rate for Premium Referrals is 1 in 8, Over 12% of People go Premium. This can be seen in the image below, but are these numbers correct? Frankly, it all depends on YOU and how well your efforts are to get referrals. Let me explain.

With a 1 in 8 Conversion Rate, this basically means that if you were to get 80 Referrals, you should get 10 Premium Referrals out of it. You get 80 referrals and divide it by 10 sales and you get a Conversion Rate of 8. That number is not a hard fact but rather an average. It will differ from member to member.

Your conversion rate could be plus or minus the average of 1 in 8. If you really would like to know what your rate is, you will need to total up your Referrals and divide it by the amount of Premium Sales. How can you get these numbers? Just go to your Referral Entrance Details section on the My Stats page of your WA Affiliate Program.

What Your WA Affiliate Program Stats Mean

In the above image you will see my current All-Time WA Referral and Sales stats. These 12 results are from the 12 different affiliate links I use to gain referral invitations to WA. Though I do not promote WA full time, I have gained 1,041 Referrals and of those 157 have gone Premium. My Conversion Rate is 6.6 (1,041/157=6.63057…).

Personally I think that is pretty good for someone like me that does not promote WA as my sole source of affiliate marketing income. I can only imagine what my rate would be if I did put more effort into making WA my entire focus. But like I have said many times before, I do not put all of my affiliate earnings into one basket.

YOU TOO CAN GAIN SUCCESS AT WA

Getting emails that say Invitation Accepted! is a step of success and the first of three that will lead to actually earning money. But the real challenge is getting that referral to engage and start their own journey towards success in whatever niche they decide to go after.
