2019 NBA Champions Toronto Raptors - That is a Niche

Last Update: June 14, 2019

First off I would like to congratulate all basketball fans up in Canada, especially Toronto Raptor fans, on their victory over the Golden State Warriors. I'm not sure if Kyle (a fan of basketball) is a Raptors fan, but I bet he was watching or at least is quite excited about the win.

THINK OF THE MONEY-MAKING POTENTIAL

Money making potential? Yes! Imagine this... Here is a historical basketball question.

How many NBA Championships have the Toronto Raptors won?

Up until last night...0 Zero Nada Zip!

Now imagine if you a basketball fan joined Wealthy Affiliate as a Free Starter Member, took the first 10 lessons of the Online Entrepreneur Certification course, decided to make your basketball niche about the Toronto Raptors, then became a Premium $49 per month member, and your Raptors niche website was up and running.

You could be making a lot of money right now from people looking to buy apparel, collectibles, and other items associated with the team from the affiliate ads on your website. And just in case you are wondering...specific sports teams regardless of the sport ARE NICHES. Are you a fan of any particular sports team? Well so are many others and that is a niche.

So remember that when someone is struggling to find a niche. If there is something you enjoy watching or doing that many others enjoy as well...That is a Niche. Once again, CONGRATULATIONS to the fans and the Toronto Raptors! 2019 was your year! You are finally on record as being an NBA Championship team.

First of all know that I am an avid basketball fan, and second of all my team is the Golden State Warriors. Sure ... we're bleeding a little out here in the Bay Area. What are the odds that a team would have two devastating injuries to two of their "make a difference" star players during the NBA Final.

Toronto played well. They are a talented team. What a story book ending the 2019 season was for them. A Rookie NBA coach + some very smart trades made a team on the rise the 2019 NBA Champions. Plus maybe the stars were aligned for them as well.

Mean while a story book franchise out here on the west coast is already gearing up for the 2019/2020 season. Will Durant and Thompson be back for it? Contracts and injury recovery are the obstacles.

I've thought about this as niche for me, but have backed away thinking I was too close to it ... too much of a fan.

Being too much of a fan is the perfect recipe for choosing that as your niche. It is something you are "passionate" about.

After reading my Baseball Affiliate Programs website post, I just recently convinced Cal (Calh60) to start a niche website about his favorite baseball team.

He just started a website about the Chicago Cubs.and it is called The Goat is Gone. Any astute fan of baseball history would know what that means when it comes to the Cubs.

Those were some really fantastic final games! I wondered if Kyle went to any of the games? I know he's a basketball fan.

Not taking anything away from the Raptors but Golden State did not play like warriors. The injuries of Thompson and Durant did not help either. Hoping for a rematch, but not sure it might be the same Warriors team going forward. One can only hope.

Even so I'll be looking forward to see what the Raptors do in future as I am sure most people would be as well. So this niche is most likely going to be a great one if anyone decides to get into it.

You know Robert, if it's one thing, we can always count on you to spot those niches that most of us overlook. You are so on your game here. Quality, as always.

Thank you Vanessa. Any chance I get to give people in this community niche ideas, especially niches they may not have thought of, I will always share the knowledge.

I too was wondering if Kyle went to any of the games, seeing how he loves basketball. I could definitely see him going being that it was Canada's first ever NBA Championship.

Yes the Warriors didn't play and live up to their name, the injuries didn't help for sure. But I was happy they didn't win because I was hoping the Raptors would.

Golden State had already won two. It was time that someone else win. Since my original choice, my favorite local team, the Brooklyn Nets were eliminated, I am happy the Raptors got it.

LOL! Sorry to hear that your team got eliminated. I think it's great that the Raptors won but I can't help but wonder what might have happened, had Durant and Thompson played for the entire game. Maybe there would have been a Sunday game. That would have been epic!

Well, we'll just have to wait and see what the 2020 NBA final brings.

As far as I know Kyle followed the games on TV (based on IG stories). He lives in BC, and Raptors' games were in Toronto :)

Hi Dennis sounds like you are a Brooklyn Nets fan? Well we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Seems like there might be some changes to the team. Then again change is not always a bad thing.

Thanks for this. I never thought of having a single sports team as a niche. In the UK soccer, at Premier League, level has millions of fans and one of the top ten teams plays 2 miles away from my home. Now there is a thought! I think I will check out if thehave an affliliate programme.

The sports niche is extremely popular and when you can narrow it down to a popular team or even a popular player, you can make some good money. There are always rabid fans for any given team, which makes it a niche.

A well-deserved win for the Raptors. I'm still left wondering why the San Antonio Spurs let go of Leonard and Green.

Anyway, just like the Raptors who just won a championship for the first time, we can also win BIG in the world of internet marketing if we will just put in the time and work really hard.

Thanks for sharing Rob.

You are welcome.

Not sure about Green. Probably included in the trade to sweeten the deal but Leonard wanted out because of how he felt and the lost trust he had with the Spurs.

Funny sport. 5 vs 8 . They should try this in soccer World Cup . Germany fields 11 players - USA as a soccer 3rd world country fields 14. Just saying

I see, I din't know that. I have't been watching NBA playoffs since the Spurs lost their winning touch, ha ha.

Have a great weekend Rob.

Well not every sport can be like NY Yankees baseball. 😉⚾️

It all stems from when Leonard got hurt and supposedly the Spurs team doctor said he was good enough to play when he said he still had too much pain. From that point on he was accused of not wanting to play so he got frustrated and wanted out.
