I have a great Idea that I need help building a site just like Wealthy affiliate, where I get people to sign up and join an ever growing community of people helping people!
There are some good plugins for membership sites.
The best ones are expensive and some still have limitations on payment gateways and other integrations.
I would go for a tested and proven plugin that offers the security level you need to be sure there are no backdoors and other vulnerabilities.
So what to do is to google for membership plugins and then benchmark the results to your requirements.
Spend some time in defining your requirements for the site. When building a site like this the most important part of the work is to figure out features and functionality before you start and dividing them into 'need to have' and 'nice to have'.
Check out the plugins for membership sites. There are some free and some premium plugins for you to look at.
Google “membership sites templates”, it will be a lot of hard work but there are some simple ones out there to start with similar to Facebook groups and maybe you could upgrade as you build the membership.
It is to raise money for people who have Cystic Fibrosis, I will flourish before the end of 2019! And that is a promise I am making to myself!
There are some template membership sites, but they might need a lot of customization. WA has an entire team that works solely on this. It's not impossible, but it will be a big task. Sounds exciting!
I asked that exact question to Kyle once. I remember him replying it takes a lot of time and effort and money lots of money!
It started small, without many features, then slowly it grew.... and grew and grew and grew. Sites like this take years to develop. That said, doesn't mean someone else can't do it too. Just be prepared to devote your life to it for many years.

Check if your SSL certificate is active and then try this SSL: Activation, No Padlock, Mixed Content and Google Search Console SiteRubix subdomains don't have SSL certificates.
I'm having the same issue for over a week, and site support didn't really helped. But give it a try.
