Is theyr'e any info on traffic exchanges and the workings of ad networks
Traffic Exchanges are always a waste of time and money. They produce the absolute worst quality traffic and I've never heard of a traffic exchange to do anything but be a waste.
In regards to Ad networks, you need to have full control over where your ads are placed and the audience in which you are connecting with. Many ad networks out there are not much different than traffic exchanges and they offer low quality traffic that is going to get you nowhere in business.
Traffic needs to come from sources that you control. Whether it is your website getting ranked, or a pay per click network like Facebook, Google Adwords, or Bing. These networks give you 100% control over your audience, keywords, and who you are connecting with.
You will not find any info on Traffic Exchanges or Ad Networks other than Bing, Facebook, or Google Adwords here at WA.

Information on Traffic Exchanges and Ad Networks
Is theyr'e any info on traffic exchanges and the workings of ad networks
Hey Gersh,
As for traffic exchanges - It's typically wannabe internet marketers who get conned into paying to these exchanges, and made to believe that traffic exchanges work. The members are all trying to sell to each other. Also, if they did work, it would be taught here.
As for Ad Networks, that is something that works and is taught here. But you have to choose the right ones and make sure you understand the concepts thoroughly before engaging as it can be expensive otherwise. For ad networks, you can search here for that term or search on Pay Per Click or PPC.
Best Regards,
Jim
thanks for your comments.would you cross off all traffic exchanges across the board
or are there any reliable ones that don't use bot?
As Carson and I have both stated, traffic exchanges are not worth the effort. FYI, you may get traffic with them but not all traffic is created equal. Traffic on its own will not convert to sales so you want to concentrate on targeted traffic that does get you sales.
Stay on track with what is being taught here at WA. If you stay focused on that and put in the necessary effort, you can make this business work!

Maybe it sounds irrelevant but I would like to understand the process used in 'MY RANK".I personally think this feature has more of an influence on the WA community than we thin
I'd recommend you watch this video: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/the-benefits-of-being-an-ambassador If you want to know more about the way ranking is calculated, Carson blogged about it here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/carson/blog/wa-member-rank-update-explained Rich.

when choosing keyword how many searches and traffic are we looking for?
Yeah, ultimately you are looking for the high traffic low competition keywords. Those are the goldmines of the keyword world.
However if you have a keyword that only has 35 traffic for instance, that is still traffic. And better yet if it has a really low competition. Like Rich said, if you have lets say 10 keywords getting 35 traffic month. That adds up to 350 a month coming to your site.
The smaller ones do add up.
It's worth bearing in mind that the smaller volumes are seriously worth going for if they result in targetted traffic. I'd rather have 100 visitors to my site that buy, than 1,000,000 that don't. If each of your keywords is only 100+ and you put up a couple of posts every week for a year, that could mean 10,000 visitors per month in under a year. :) Rich.
Searches and traffic can be anything - the more the better. I sometimes do small search volumes because it's a really good sounding keyword and helpful, but sometimes I go for high search volume like several hundred. The thing you want to look for is QSR, or your 'competition. This is labeled in Jaaxy, and it's 'X Number Results" in WA Keyword Tool. I look for under 300 competing, aka under 300 qsr.
