Downright Personal blog post.
Well, in the last post and this one, I am really feeling like I am walking naked along the boardwalk. My goal was to be real and personal.
I reviewed this post with my daughter. I wanted to put in pictures, but wondered if it would take away from the message. Please let me know what you think.

Enjoyed reading. You could maybe add another small to medium sized picture just to break it up a little. What do you think?
Very nice post it is written very good. I hope you do not mind that I checked your title for the keyword phrase and the QSR is very high at 183,000 with only 448 searches per month. Also just to help it a little more if you could add your keyword title within the first part of your writing. Others wise very nicely put together I enjoyed receding it.

Here is my dilemma. My market is women of faith and more specifically Christian women, though many other faiths may still find it of interest. I am planning on opening a store, and am still in the final stages of getting that part of the site setup. The store itself will sell jewelry, some bags and scarves. I fully intended to monetize the site for other products related to beauty products and the core of the mission.... books for women. I knew I needed to draw traffic, plus provide quality content. I started with the blog first.
I have broken the blog posts into categories already, and what you read is the Heart and Soul category. For me, this is the underlying theme of the site. The other categories are Skin Care, Bling (jewelry products that I will not sell myself), Bags and Shoes, Books, and Fashion.
I have done jaaxy searches for each of the blog posts. In some of these, there are no Low Hanging key word phrases. Yet, I want the site to include the personal side of me so that will see me as a real person. At one time, I would ever have gone out and bought jewelry, makeup or fancy clothes. My Christian upbringing as well as my own self esteem was so strangled by all of the false beliefs I clung to that I felt guilty even wanting to do these things. I am not alone.
Yesterday's post generated more traffic in one day than anything I have done. I also got comments which are important as well. I could not find a title that said what I needed it to say AND would have a low QSR.
I struggle with keywords and tiles. I love to write, but I am careful when I do so, especially when I am being factual about things. My writing before all this was mostly for internal corporate documents, or product presentations etc. My writing about myself actually was much easier. But is was also hard for me to put it out there. I have been such a private person and never discussed matters of the heart and soul outside my husband and daughters.
Here are the keywords I used:
he came set captives free, faith healing, Captivating, born captivating, women faith 2013, captivating stasi eldredge, healing, spiritual healing
Ironically, when I search Google for Let the Healing Begin, I come up #2 with a youtube video in #1. I did not expect that at all.
Very nice work! I recommend pictures in all posts. People want visual, and it helps ranking big time. JMO :)
As you say a very personal blog and I'm sure it will appeal to your 'target' market. Many congratulations on the weight loss that's great!
