Brits List update.
Update for the Brits
Good morning everyone.
Thank you all for your responses and input in our discussion about creating a list of the Brits in WA. It was good to see other nationalities joining the discussion.
Well! We seem to have a quite a few Brits in WA - 35 at the last count, but that does include a Dane and One from Ireland who are both very welcome. (Same time zone)There might be others that have not responded yet for one reason or another! If you have not seen this discussion it’s here….. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/bill2409/blog/calling-all-the-brits
The list I promised to collate is ready but what should we do with it? I personally would like for us all to be able to access the list at any time so that a choice can be made about who to contact.
Have you got any ideas of how or where you would like to display our list? should I just post it here?
Other uses for the list could be:
·Write an article for your WA website to encourage more Brits to Join.
·Write articles that are relevant for the Brits, for example the tax allowances available to us all for running a home business.
·Write a blog and open a discussion to get assistance with any hold ups. GMT am.
There will be more uses added in time, if you have any ideas let’s have them please and I will add them to the blog.
Once again I will make the point that this is not a suggestion to separate the Brits from the rest of the WA community, it just makes sense for us to be able to find each other to share ideas and get help when the majority the of members (US) are asleep.
Yesterday I posted a message to Carson asking for his opinion and I await his response.
I look forward to all your comments and input regardless of your nationality.
Bill

I have just connected to my son in the Netherlands via whatsapp its a great system and its free. Could we use this for our use? we could form a group and a message could then be passed to us all to respond on WA. Just another idea to throw in the mix.
Hi Bill,
I have an idea that might benefit us both?
On my site http://growrichwhilstyousleep.com the main idea of the site is to attract people to sign up to WA (funnily enough) but on the site I also have a phpBB forum. This is grossly underused as it's only me that posts to it at the moment.
My thoughts were we could use this as a Brits message board with profiles of members, private areas, etc. It would help me as it would then be an active (bustling) forum and it would help the Brits List out as a place to meet up and exchange ideas, stories, anecdotes, football scores, anything!
Let me know your thoughts.
Best wishes
Marc
A good idea, but I think you might not be the only one who has this idea Maybe when everyone has had their say, it will be something to consider.
I think a blog post with all the names and perhaps general locations would be great, e.g.
Internetgranny (Isabella) - Oxfordshire
janicebowles (Janice) - Oxfordshire
DBSTAR (Donatella) - Italy and London
Bill, we get a lot of stuff come across us here, sometimes we have to duck to get out of the way! This is potentially of value- I know because I was having a "I wondered what happened to the Brit List idea" yesterday..then up you pop- tttttttttt tttt timing!
I am heading over to the post, I echo what you are saying, and thank you from the bottom of my heart (rather than the heart of my bottom!- just wanted to get a major bad taste pun in) for taking the trouble.
Cheers, Andy

Hi Bill, Looks like you are coming along just fine with your responses! I think that is great what you are doing for those on the other side of the Atlantic! :-) One of these days, maybe we can create a list for the states in the US?
I think that might be too big a job for me, maybe you should take it on! lol
Bill
Oh Bill! I didn't mean for you to have to create the list! Just thinking out loud that it would be nice to have a state by state list of members. Perhaps one of these days . . . .
