Don't Miss Today 'Cause You're Looking Too Far Ahead
Don't fall into one of the great mistakes to which humans succumb, which is.......
Trading Today For Tomorrow
Considering the fact that we are not guaranteed the next micro-second, much less years, how should we conduct our business and our lives.
In my opinion, each day contains a set of circumstances that collide with us. Kind of like a train wreck of life! I don't mean only traumatic experiences, just a lot of every day stuff.
While I believe goals are vital, I also believe they must be placed in the right compartment. Set goals. Write them down. Decide what is your part in bringing them to pass. But more (much more) importantly, decide what things are absolutely beyond your control.
Now here's the trick. You are only allowed to worry about those things beyond your control for 60 seconds the first day. Then, worry 59 seconds the second day.
At the end of 60 days you will have no worries for the rest of your life!
Or..... Just quit worrying today! Can't make it rain by worrying. Can't make yourself taller by worrying.
And always remember that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a call to your travel agent! Taking one in two days, so I know!
Just sayin

Great Blog, Fred. Too easy to miss today, worrying about tomorrow or fretting about yesterday. Takes time to unlearn that particular set up bad habits.
Yes, Rich, I totally agree with this, thanks!! :))
Thanks very much for sharing, Fred. :))
Excellent advice big guy. It goes right along with much of what I've been reading lately regarding both setting goals as well as keeping a "balance" in ones life. Have fun on your trip, wherever that takes you. My best to you.

Very good advice. Can't change the past, Can not predict the future with much accuracy. So concentrate most on how the past and the future (what you think the future might be) might be used in the present.
