After reading the following post by Rocwell, I am wondering if I should begin stepping into the video world of content in a big way? There might be room for some discussion

I say jump in head first. You might need a few takes to get your videos presentable, but lets face it....nobody is perfect at first. I've not done any videos yet, but I hope to have at least one up by 09/07. Hopefully its liked, but if not....live and learn.

It won't be wasted. Video blogging is a great idea. Videos make your content easier for your visitors to consume. The easier the better. Of course you can and should still have a article to accompany the video. No ones perfect, just start small and realize that your videos won't be high quality day one.

I am sure they realize that video blogging and so forth is not for the weak of heart and don't want to encourage a bunch of amateurs, ME, into wasting Vweb space.. What are Kyle's or Carson's thoughts here, though?

YouTube is the second most searched site on the planet. Video is super easy to rank for and happens to be owned by Google. They are getting at the fact that you will absolutely drive more traffic if you tie video into your process.

Yes!

I think this is important enough to get Kyle and Carson into the conversation? What do you think?

yes! Absolutely, I am sure they are ahead of the game here though..

Wow, well, he really has a point about video! Of course, I am no authority.... I think we should seriously consider what he says and not just keep creating the same traditional marketing strategies within our websites, Video has a serious place here, but, like he said, to do it right is expensive and time consuming! so, what do you do?
