RIP Chris Cornell

I know this is not related to marketing or making money online but I'm going to share anyway.

Chris Cornell, an amazing artist who sang with Soundgarden, Audioslave (and other artists) has left this earth. Took his own life and left a black hole in this world.

Absolutely destroyed I never got to see this man preform live. One of the most unique voices in the rock scene.

If you want, please take the time to have a listen to this playlist. Lots of amazing acoustic covers: https://youtu.be/IuUDRU9-HRk?list=PLEYlykAyXHhEA8wWcTa_N7Ncntdi7xU3v

He left too early!

He had a good voice. Nice video. Thanks for sharing

It's a shame Beau. The good ones are being taken from us!

yes, so devastating. he was a real talent and a pioneer.

Wow, so sad. I love some of those.

I'm shattered by this - totally unexpected, out of character and just completely senseless. Such a sad, sad loss.

He was a MASSIVE influence on me as a musician growing up. His music was so heartfelt. A real loss to the world. I`m going to try and do a black hole sun cover soon. I NEED to.

Chris Cornell, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, Scott Weiland, Andrew Wood... damn.

At least Eddie Vedder is "still alive", I guess.

I feel your grief... his music will live on. :)

Thank you Grace :) I am going to purchase all of his albums on vinyl and add them to my collection. With all the other great albums I listen too while sipping whiskey near the fire at night.

I'm going to be devastated when one of the members of U2 pass on. I've been following them for the last 30 years.

I feel ya. Love that band too. It's hard to resonate with the music of today. It lacks substance.

Yes I so agree!! I feel like a loser not really liking the music of today. Guess I'm turning into an "old fart". Lol

hahahaha I think it's the youth of today that are losing with the tripe they have to listen to today.

I feel proud that my kids, my 18 year old daughter and 13 year old son know the songs and bands that their mum and dad love most.

Theres hope yet!

That's good to hear! My kids are still young, and I've tried getting them listen to U2, but they haven't really caught on yet. Lol

Our family have always been the singing type. Never really sung kids lullaby's or things like that. Always songs we as parents loved. Seldom the house sat in silence. There would always be music that we would all sing along too.

Our kids have broad knowledge of songs from even beyond their parents era.

It's funny the culture we build for our family. It's not uncommon for us to stop in the middle of a shop and suddenly start dancing and singing to a song we hear.

We get some weird looks but we really don't care lol

That's so awesome!! That's the difference between your family and ours then. :)

As much as I want to sing better, my husband cringes when I sing as he's more musically inclined but he still humors me when I want to karaoke. :)

My kids like the top 40 stuff for now... they are 6 & 8.

A lady who swims with sharks could never be an "old fart"!

But if you are, then I am also! I don't think I could name 20 cureent artists or songs...I'm forever stuck in the 80's & 90's.

Yeah I love the 80s! ;)

I grieve with you for anyone that goes home too soon.

Thank you my friend. I have been listening to his music non-stop for days now. Such an amazing voice. So much soul and emotion.

I am not able to hear through computer's speakers in order to appreciate the sound...
