Just got a 2 position rank on Google 1st page.
So, less than two weeks into the program and I have a fully operational website with affiliate marketing, a Twitter page with almost 400 followers, a Facebook page that is coming along, a Pinterest page and a Google Plus page. All thanks to the education on internet marketing from WA. Thanks guys.
My page www.veteranpensionbenefit.com is beginning to generate some traffic. Over 700 impressions in a week and a half. It is still a work in progress and there is steep .gov pages with which to compete, but I am encouraged. Traffic is always going to be the key.
Looking back through the lessons, I came across this:

I had somehow missed it before, but it has a ton of info on generating traffic. Using the key work search techniques about how to search for google phrases, I came up with several to use in a post.
That was 2 days ago. Today a google plus post was in the 2 position first page with my picture next to it. Whoo Hoo!
