Is it possible to set up an email client such as Outlook to manage my email? The current Site Rubix client doesn't allow me to run rules for sorting and directing emails, which

I have updated training here that works with Windows 10 and Outlook 2016/365 You need to ensure that you split the incoming and outgoing credentials, along with specifying the Inbox Folder, for it to run smoothly. As well as configuring Outlook “before” you open Outlook.

You have all the details for your smtp settings under the email tab - so you should be able to import the account.
i have done this in gmail but not outlook - but it should be similar.
and as you say it can be a pain to manually sort everything.

This has nothing to do with WA other than it disrupts my productivity. I have tried the Apple Community and searched the world over, and nothing seems to work. With so many won

Finally resolved. After about 4 hours and three Apple trouble tickets, the issue is finally resolved. Because I no longer own any of the devices trying to connect to my iCloud, I was able to use the "Find My" app on my Mac to erase and remove the three devices. The last person to assist me, Heather, even remarked that I was the best customer she had all day. Lol

I hope you get it figured out.

That's totally up to you what to approve or not. And what notifications I want to see in my Mac. I'd say it is more like settings within. However can't work exactly where. May be I need more info. You may look at settings from within the notifications bar.

Right. If I approve the devices, the message still appears minutes later. The same happens if I disapprove the devices. I don't even have these devices, so I'm not sure why they're popping up like this. It's annoying as the notifications fill the right side of the screen.

I checked my notifications and did not see anything related to iCloud in there.

I used the plugin, just can't login to WordPress after the migration as it asks me to update my database, then it screws up my admin login.

I spoke with Flywheel support, and they cannot troubleshoot my issue because I am not a customer under their hosting service. So, I am back at square one...

It looks like you've managed to install Local by Flywheel on your computer. But which method are you using to do the actual migration of your existing website? Try All In One WP Migration.

Your admin login will be what it was for the original website prior to the migration, not necessarily the same as when you installed WordPress. Have you tried the "Forgot Password" link? I'm not sure that would work on a local install.

Just so it's clear, it's only the local site that I am having this problem, and the problem doesn't exist until after the site is migrated and I am forced to update my database.

In all of the tutorial videos I have watched on YouTube, none show this update database requirement. So, I don't know why I am forced to do that. Puzzled.

@MarionBlack the previous reply was deleted, somehow. The "forgot password" feature doesn't recognize my email. When the database updates, it is doing something to either my wp-config or wp-login php files.

Can you access the database using phpMyAdmin or download it and view it in Notepad++?

I've only used WAMP and XAMPP not Local by Flywheel so I don't have any experience that would help. Sorry 😒

I have not tried as I thought phpMyAdmin was only accessible through your control panel, which would mean it would only work on my active website. I don't have a problem with the active site, just the local one. If I am wrong, please enlighten me as to how to do this. Thanks!

Yes, they're both free. XAMPP works cross-platform and WAMP is for a Windows based computer.

Did you set up the change of domain name when you created the All In One WP Migration backup?

Sorry, I'm a bit rusty on local installs. You may get better advice by doing a Google or YouTube search.

You both are telling me to use my login/password from my live site to access my local site. That makes no sense to me, but it is something I have not tried to this point. When I get home from work, I will try that out before going with the other options you mentioned.
