Is there a way to speed up the videos? I normally watch youtube videos at 1.25 or 1.5 and I was wondering if there is a way to speed the videos up.

I tried doing it with Jay's webinars but only got the sound not the visual :(

Only if you view source code and find the video but not in all instances will that work. I know they seem time consuming but they are that way to give time to soak up the info unless you are referring to the weekly webinars.

Thanks, Shane

I agree the videos are full of information. I just find that most speakers don't have a fast enough pace or the have many pauses in between thoughts.

I'm a ToastMaster and it kind of drives me nuts ....but then again my wife says its a short trip.

Thanks again
Percy

I was actually going to join a toastmaster team in my local area, I need ti work on my social speaking skills.

Any helpful tips?

I've always found Jay's videos drag on too long. We have to sit there and watch him while he does stuff, or while he gets distracted by messages from people. It's done this way because it's live, but it doesn't really have much benefit of being live like it would if it was actually several people having a live discussion, e.g. Kyle, Carson and Jay together.

However, since I started making notes to turn into blog posts, I find the pace of them okay because I'm busy making notes. But if you just want to sit back and watch them, they can seem to drag on at a slow pace. It would be really good if someone was able to edit these down into just the essential 20 minutes of actual information.

Anyway, these might help you:

Shane

Jump in with both feet and start as soon as possible. If you find the right group it will boost your self-confidence and your self-esteem.

It is worth every penny. You also get to do some networking.

Can you reset the Progress in the Certification box in the left hand sidebar?

What Nicole said. I had the same question when I started

Good to know - great question!

Good to know (reading the answers below)!
:)

Yep, I did too by unchecking the tasks in the lessons.

Wayne

Seems a little "Old School" but if it works.

I agree and there probably is a simpler way to do it.

Wayne

You'd have to uncheck all the tasks in each lesson and then it will go back to Course 1, Lesson 1.

Hope this helps. :)

Thanks for the answer. I was hoping to have an automated process but I not so much.

Yes, that would be a good idea. Hopefully, Kyle & Co read this and maybe add this to the list for future improvements. :)

Meanwhile, I'm afraid we're stuck with unchecking the tasks.

Well, I asked the question but that doesn't mean I like the answer.

I guess if this is the only inconvenience I have today I'm doing pretty good.

Thanks for you help

Well, I did...

Press On!
