I have been reviewing my MMO website and thinking I need to branch out into some new topics, perhaps in Lifestyle to tap into the Health, Social, Fitness and Travel industries. Is this a good idea or will I be diluting my authority?

I would love to hear from some of the long term business people here? Any advice will be

greatly appreciated. My website is listed under my profile.

It's clever affiliate success!

Thanks heaps in advance

Don't know what I would do without you guys and gals

Hi Lily,
You have created a wonderful MMO website. I could only find 9 articles on it. The mix was more in favor on how to topics. It needs more reviews on MMO programs and those that are questionable and scams to help people navigate this money making minefield. Like you already did, end each by recommending your #1 choice, WA with a call to action to check out your WA review and why. You can say something like tens of thousands of entrepreneurs are earning money using the lessons taught by WA that makes it worth their time to find out more. One day you will be in that number and can say so. Just like Nathaniell, Jerry Huang, Vitaliy and so many other successful members do.

I love your conversational writing style. And the layout. Simplicity was a key element in your creations.

One needs at least 100 posts to touch the edge of becoming an MMO authority site. You have quite a ways to go. I feel you're at a decision point based on your question.

Should you continue building out your MMO site or changing niches? Since you do not have a while lot of posts yet, starting a new niche will not hurt your progress. Pick a niche you're passionate about and give it your all.

Don't abandon your MMO site, but keep adding to it sparsely while you're focused on your new niche. Ideally one should work on only one website at a time till it is attracting a lot of traffic and providing you the low end of your financial goals before starting another.

You got this Lily. Keep doing what you do. To me the only barrier you have to great success is more great content.

BTW your Rocket plugin post was awesome.

I wish you all the best in your affiliate marketing journey.

Cheers!

Edwin

Here is a good article on making good use of category pages or "hub pages" as he calls them: https://zyppy.com/rank-category-pages/#7-guides-tools There is also an internal link to an Architecture article.

I've read from other respected people that you can have different, related, categories, but it takes a good deal of content. You should have at least 15-20 articles per category. They also should not be too general.

I've also seen very popular non-MMO websites pushing MMO products. You see personal brands pushing MMO. Which kind of tells me the two can be mixed...

Is this the easiest way to reach success? I'll let you know once I get there... My biggest problem is staying actively involved with my site. Even with that, traffic is growing and small commissions are coming in. So it does work. Not getting rich yet though.

It's a subject I continue to be very interested in also.

Interesting input thanks, I'll check it out.

Hi Lily,
I think there always has to be some connection between the articles in one given niche. If it's a MMO site, then there has to be things how to make money online, how to choose keywords, how to promote yourself, maybe how to learn new things in business. So just learning, making money, business.
I think that the narrower a niche is, the better (being guilty of a broad niche myself).
Have a marvellous weekend, my friend!

I would keep it to one topic. You don't want to confuse your readers. Once your site has become an authoritative site than you can throw in a curveball to spice things up.

Watch Jay's webinar.

Thanks for the tip and link, it really helps.

I would certainly keep to a clear niche but you can so a search for topics related to it to see if they make sense to the reader. In terms of writing ideas I have a diary and when an idea comes into my head I write it down then do a key word search to see how it relates. I am only a month in though! Good luck and a niche and key words are everything along with your audience. Best Phil

Good advice Phil.
Wishing you enormous success.
