How To Get My Website Ranked In Google With Peoples Comments

Read on here to see how I get my website ranked in Google with peoples comments. The comments that people leave on your website are a good tool for creating engagement and authority with Google. Comments really help with website rankings and we can often outrank other competing sites with no comments. We are all so pleased when our pages and posts hit the first page of the search engine listings, but what can we do to effectively get our website back to the top spot if sliding?

The best ways to give any "sliding" rank a shove in the right direction back up to top is through the power of comments. This method also works to get NEW Posts ranking well with the search engines. I have come across 2 methods that work great and this trick works most of the time. However, this also depends on how strong your TITLE Keywords are and the competing on that page. Long tail keywords work best and ideally should have less repeating words than the other listings on page 1.

What To Do When Your Page Rank Slips!

The best way to give your pages a kick in the right direction is to place 2 comments on the page in question. This not only adds more content, engagement, and authority to the post, it also shows Google that people are interacting with your website leaving comments. The comment needs to be at least 250 characters long and the reply should be double. Don't worry too much about putting external links as these are "No Follow" by default, but place an internal link to a relevant page on your site.

Submit Your Comments One By One To Google Console

Do the first comment and make sure there are no spelling mistakes. I always clean up my website by using the WP Optimize Plugin before submitting, this will clean up old revisions, transient scripts, and auto drafts. This will not only make your website run smoothly it should also make your site a smoother ride for the BOTS to navigate! Just click on the link below for Jim-Bo's training on how to fetch.

Once you have submitted the first comment, go back to your website and start working on the next. Repeat the process above, then submit to Google Console. Always give it around 30 minutes then copy and paste the Title URL and check the ranking in "incognito" mode. As I was saying above, this will only work if you have good solid keywords and all the competition on that page aren't engaging them too.

Using The Same Method To Launch A New Post or Page

Using the same method to launch a new post or page can work wonders to cement your Title Tag on page 1. Make sure before submitting, the meta description must contain the same wording as the title tag and preferably, at the beginning. Have a look at the link below about meta tags by Boomer.

Informative post, but I have some questions if you don't mind.

When you say "submit" to google console what exactly do you mean. Are you talking about updating your site map which would contain the link of your new Post or page so they can index that new Post along with all your other indexed pages and posts?

Also, how do you submit a comment to google. What do you mean by that. I am familiar with console but not sure about this.

I just don't know where exactly I would submit my comments one by one to google? Under what section in console. Do you do this with all your comments if you need to increase rank?

Pehaps you could help me in a private message and I would be forever grateful. I am trying to get two of my sites ranked higher on Google. I cant seem to do that. There is so much competition.

One thing I noticed was very strange. I have a 4K UHD TV website blog called www.4KADVICE.com for about 9 months now. I am indexed and trying to rank much higher but cant.

I noticed that on certain searched like "WHAT IS 4K"...there are google search results that come up on the first and second page that suck! I don't know how they even get on there. Most strange of all is that many of them are old. One dated back 2 years! The content in this particular search results page was so outdated that I would not think that Google would want to be referring this link as a search result.

My Posts are current and talk about What 4K is....with current dates and keywords, yet I am not ranking on even the first 10 pages. My post is good quality content and helpful information with todays date, but they are listing a 1.5 year old Post above mine in google search.. It does not make sense.

How do I get a better rank?

Thank you verily Jeff for this your post. It is wonderful.

Thank you, Bibian.

Thanks Jeff for this informative post. Very useful!

Many thanks, important information about "Comments"

thanks for sharing

I like your idea Jeff, but this would only work with sites hosted at WA, I believe.

With sites hosted at other than WA, we have no control over comments received.

This is why we are so lucky being part of Wealthy Affiliate. Comments are really hard to receive and I have seen good websites with authority that have no comments at all.

Yes, that is true Jeff. My sites are hosted at WA, but there are many here who host their sites elsewhere.

Thank you for the information.

Thank you, Jeff, for this valuable information.

Susan

No worries, Susan.

Comments. Better that a ski lift Jeff!

There like little Gold Nuggets, Michael.
