See how to delete unwanted data from a WordPress Website with tips for a good website load time. We all have plugins on our WordPress Websites that leave script on our database, But did you know each time you delete a plugin, they often leave data that can slow down your site's speed? learn how to clean the code for web page load time in a WordPress Website.

Install The Clean Options Plugin To Cleanup Your Site!

.You can do this by adding a handy little plugin called, Clean Options. Once you have activated and installed this plugin, go the the plugins and click on tools.

Just follow the directions below to start finding old code you can delete.

Click on "Find Orphaned Options" and this will take you to a list of all plugins and widgets you have installed. Some plugins you might recognize straight off but if you are unsure what they are, there is a Google Search to the right so you can look them up.

Once you have clicked on the View Selected Options Information button, this will take you to a section which displays the code to be deleted.

Once you have made sure the code to be deleted is correct, click on the : Yes Remove All of these options from the wp_options table and click on Submit.

Double Check Information And Backup Website!

Always keep this in mind when deleting code from your websites! Make a backup of your site and pay close attention to the script in which you are deleting. If you can't find a explanation on Google to which plugin is being deleted, then the best thing is to leave it there!

Some of the scripts off code I found on my website were quite large and once deleted, did speed up the site. There's no point in having old code from discontinued plugins if we don't have too.
