About me….

I am 42 years of age and just finished a career in the Australian Army, I have played rugby union for over 20 years in local and Defence teams. I love surfing and enjoyed water sports most of my life and have always found time to been active. These days I run 3 days a week and spend 6-7 days hitting the gym! I have two young boys and a fitness freak of a girlfriend who loves to be fit (My motivation).

Fitness and staying strong is very important to my family and I. We see the benefits and how important it is in having a healthy body and the impact it plays on having a healthy mind. The confidence and motivation makes it all worthwhile.

I am addicted to the gym and as it’s become a big part of my lifestyle! So choosing a product such as a protein shake or a workout powder is important to me. I want to know what we are putting in our bodies. I want to know how much sugar or fat is in a ingredient. We train hard and don’t want to be fooled or ripped off on or be scammed!

My fat content constantly changes sometimes I have been as low as 8% where I ate healthy, counted my calories watched everything I put in my body and how much I needed. I am a bit more relaxed now and I sit around the 15-20 % body fat percentage! When I started using products like protein power, vitamins, workout drinks, fish oil etc. etc. the lists go on… I found there were so many to choose from that I had no idea which was the best, what it was doing actually worked, how much money should I be spending. You know what I am talking about huh, there are so many things you want to try and get the most out of your work outs that it could cost you up to 500 bucks. I had no idea what I was doing.

So I decided to create this website (www.tuffmuscles.com) and give you my first-hand experience with protein powders, workout drinks, vitamins and the works as I learn all about them and share it with you! If you have any questions or have a request, please send me an email at aussiewolf@tuffmuscles.com or write a comment!

Enjoy your stay and I hope you get something from my blog.

Thanks for your time,

Cheers,

Hey Aussie. Can't wait to see your website. What do you think of pea protein vs. whey protein?

Hi Zora,

I won't lie to you that i haven't had much experience with pea protein or hemp protein for that matter. What i do know is that Pea protein is a good substitute to whey if you have a intolerance to dairy and is popular among vegetarians and vegans.

Both have pros and cons, whey being the more popular. Pea protein is deficient in certain amino acids and why some say should not be used as a primary source of dietary protein compared to whey. So depending what you are doing in training as it is important getting more protein and amino acids in your your body to use to build muscle and function optimally.

Also Whey is more available and in some cases cheaper, Whey mixes better and tastes better and easier to drink! Though you do have to remember both are not to be used as only source for a meal, they are to go with a well balanced meal plan!

Though i would like to hear some peoples experiences or views with pea protein or any other protein apart from Whey!

cheers

I think that this is very interesting niche with full potential for earning.

Thanks ar20746, also quite popular! see how we go

Sounds good!! Good luck!!

thanks buddy!

Great job Aussie! I can relate cause my dad was a big time workout buff. he was very much into martial arts and lifting weights until he injured himself. But i remember when he would take all kinds of supplements when he woke up until he went to sleep. So i think this will help a lot of people. especially now that people are exercising more than ever these days.exercise without proper nutrition will get you nowhere. God Bless Aussie

Yeah its only early but i think it will be a good niche, thanks for reading jaz!
