On the home page of my website, I'd like to make a "Hero Header." I think that's what's it called. It's a place on the home page with my picture and a little caption that gives
try looking for an author box plugin - or if you are using the blocks editor you maybe able to do it with the advanced blocks plugin with adjustable columns - add an image of you and the other column a text box about you- or your bio.

Hi Andrew!
I have created a short video training about your question! Feel free to check it out. I found your question is relevant to many other members as well.
You can check it out here: How To Link Posts Within The Same Website? I hope it helps!

Thank you for asking. I was searching for this yesterday and couldn't find the answer. I did find this link this morning. It's under Task 3. I'm not sure it fully explains. What I'm confused about now is where you get the link - I'm thinking it's just the link that shows in the URL but I'm really not sure.
Task 3: Interlink to this post from your website Building MORE Content Through Internal Links
Just select the text that you want to highlight in your wordpress editor> click the link icon in your editor bar > and past the link you want to refer to.
Know that internal links do not open in a new window, since you can easily go back
Good luck

I posted an article and added photos in the editing back page of Word Press. So far, so good. Everything looks great. But now, I wish to remove a photo in the post. I assume I
Hi Andrew, you can just go into the post editor, click on the image and click "backspace", that should do it. Or, if you know html you click on "text" at the top of your post and remove the line of code that contains the image.

Okay, Cal,
Further clarifying,
when we say post editor, I am to go the the back page Word Press, and click the post I just published, to edit? Seems so, I'm new at all this, 3 months old now.
when you say, click in the photo, is that a right click or left click?
And when you say "backspace" Is that the backspace key on the keyboard? Sounds all too elementary. Just learning here.
Thanks for your quick response.
Go on your post hit edit click on the image that you wish to move you will see edit again click edit stroll to the bottom you will see a big red delete click it
Hope that it help
Janet
Correct, go into your Word Press editor or admin site for your website. You can click on the image and highlight and then click backspace to delete. Or, click on the image and you should see a quick editor come up that shows an "X" within that block. Click the "X" and the image will be removed.
Another thing you can do is click on "Text" in the right corner above your post and then if you know html code, locate the image code, and just remove all the text.
Don't forget to click "Update" in the right side panel after making your change.
