So, as many of you know by now, Google Authorship seems to have been stopped by Google... Therefore I am wondering what I should do about it : is there a way to "set it back"? O

I think it's QT that matters - your visitor needs to get the information they need from your pages - also your pages should have an INTENT ie some kind of call to action:

What do you want your visitors to do once they have read your content? Check the tutorial - you don't want them just bouncing off...
Google Authorship is not totally gone only the image aspect was affected I believe.
You will still get authorship credit for things you write if linked correctly to your G+ account as in "By Bob" .or whomever.

Keep writing Quality content for your website and don't focus on Authorship it's your quality content that is important. It is as simple as that.

no they have done away with it, so we just have to focus on the content, I would read the link Carlaves has given you explains it all
