If I want to make a micro niche site, for example a review and articles about productX can I choose the domain name www.productxreview (if available) or can that be a problem.<
Well, I mean, for example Proctor and Gamble I can't use www. proctorandgamblereview.com is it the same for electronic products?
Is what the same for electronic products?
Tell us what you want to do and what domain you would like to purchase.
Let's say the product is a datingproduct "double your dating". Can I than make a website around the product and call it www.honestdoubleyourdatingreview.com (with the name of the product in the url) or is that not allowed as with trademarkt and brands?
I think you might face a legal issue using another brand name. I would reconsider if I were you.

Gee, It's a leap of faith.
I don't like to provide someone else with administrator rights & passwords.
Guess I have no choice!
I totally understand that as an IT professional. That is why I suggested you make a backup if you can and create them a login that you can delete later. Check with them if they need full administrator rights 1st perhaps, but I guess they will.
If they are a professional developer it would do them more harm than good if they compromised your site.
I would change your own administrator password after though for extra piece of mind.
Thanks man for helping me out!
I've just done what you suggested, mailed them and now it's up to them to get to work and fix it!
And indeed, they can't just mess my site for their good name.
For me, it's now waiting.
Thanks again.
Actually the VC was included in the theme.
Thought that was nice. But... no updates indeed.
They should provide that.
Always issues with wp-updates. I'm thinking of just update it less.
I would like to focus on content.
It could be one of your other plugins in combination with your Theme and the WP update which is I guess why the developer might want to take a look.
I would guess that they actually want to login to your Wordpress backend. This is not uncommon with some Theme developers who take support seriously.
If you give them access then I would create a separate login for them with Administrator rights. You can then delete this login when they have finished.
I would recommend creating a backup of your site first if you can.
Perhaps a silly question but have you made sure that you have updated your Visual Composer plugin to the latest version first.

Stuck on Website. www.1to2date.com I just can't get it to look like a normal professional wordpress site. What to do? And
I think that sometimes I may offend people who ask for feedback. I mean no disrespect in anyway but I am going to give you my take because you asked. As I was looking at your post, I noticed that quite a few of them had no images. Images and videos are important within each post. As far as the images that you used, I personally did not like them if you are looking for a professional look. I would not use images within the sidebar either. Your theme is different then most I am accustom to so it took me a minute to figure out that you had to click on a post under the title.
I am with Ken on this one. Use one of your free siterubix sites to experiment with different themes, plugins, images, videos and menu choices. You won't be publishing this experimental siterubix site just using it to test different things.
Your site has great potential and I think with some work it can be really great. It is a very good niche and you have some great post on it.
Thank you for your great advice! Indeed, the images are from a free site and are mediocre at best. That's just homework for improvement. I'm stuck at the theme (there are thousands!), the i-writer articles (non-natives who try to write a professional article..) and I notices that people who visit the site bounce off most of the time. Thanks again and I get some clarity on the next steps to take!
If found some training for images from Boomer (Robert) that I think could be helpful to you. I follow Roberts training all the time. He does an amazing job. Hope these help! Good evening. I peeked at your website in question, and I don't see anything wrong with your website. It is obviously a new website because there are not a lot of content (posts, pages, pictures, etc).
My question is what do you think it should look like? If you are wanting to look like a competitor's website that would not be a wise move. Uniqueness, one-of-a-kind site will be the ultimate winner.
I would recommend to
(a) start adding a lot of content
(b) use headlines that will get attention and clicks
(c) give answers that solve people's problems
(d) give away a free gift (eBook) to capture email addresses.
(e) use your free SiteRubix website to test other wordpress websites to see if you can find a website that conforms to what you want your website to look like.
I hope this helps. To Your Success.
