We Don't Have To Settle for 2nd Place, 1st Place Is Wide Open! See your name?

I just finished reading this book called To the Grave on Empty by Josh Bowen. Sounds morbid yes?

Nope just the opposite. It is about making sure that we use up all of our selves before we die.

Doesn't that concept just fascinate you? I mean think about that.

No regrets, so looking back, no feeling that something was missed. Truly a life well lived. And that puts us in first place, because no one would do what we do, yes?

But what stops us from doing just that?

Is it fear, or not believing in our selves?

He uses this quote that really spoke to me.." Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, its about learning how to dance in the rain."

Yeah, I let that sink in for a moment. And then it gave me goosebumps.

It is all about choices.

So whether or not we are in crisis mode, or just getting through each day, it is about the dance steps we choose to use.

And I think about that often.

What makes it easier for some to dance through life as if floating on ice, and others just bump into every single door?

As someone who used to have concussions from so many head banging days, I can tell you this side is so much easier, and the perks are priceless, including no bruises!

I think when we give up the drama and find the joy, change comes.

Go easy with our lives. We flow in the simple goodness.

Look at Wealthy Affiliate. Because the community is determined to see how extraordinary each of us is... we bring this energy of filling up our cups and letting them overflow. And dance!

And I think that is the concept of to the grave on empty.. we overflow, we do days in joy, we love what we do and then we share it with others.. what could possibly be a more perfect union and use of our lives?

Does that make sense?

Yes indeed it does!

Because we are living a life worth lived.

We give, we love, we dance, we write, we succeed, we are WA!

And we are emptying ourselves so fast because there is much more to come!

I believe our soul's purpose is to love.

To thrive in connections and joy. And I think you probably agree with that, yes?

So we love ourselves, and then it just spreads to the world...

See how powerful we are?

Each time we love, we change the Universe, yup!

So this week, when the rain decides it might want to come into your window, just close that window and dance, OK?

Do it today and everyday..give life your all.. you deserve it!

Love, it is free. And yet the most priceless gift ever. So give it away, it comes back a hundred fold. We never empty. Ever!

So, no worrying about or holding on to stuff that really doesn't matter. We have way too many other important things to do!

Mark Twain said: "The fear of death follows the fear of life. A person who lives is fully prepared to die at any time. "

What is going to be your biggest give away this week?

Maybe your heart?

I want to hear it please!

In peace and gratitude,

Wayne

Hello Wayne, thanks for being here as always.. And to you..floating in love every moment...

Love your life and your life will love you.
Tom.

So well said Tom ! thank you for this. How is your world?

Slow and steady. My health is good but my wife's is bad. She is hanging in there for years because she is a perfectionist with her medication.
Thanks from Tom.

A good message Ariel. On my Dad's headstone, it is inscribed,
"Here Lies A Man Who Didn't Miss Much." It was his doing, a conspiracy with the town's undertaker. Yeah, I would say his tank was about empty, just like the book you read.

Wayne

Oh how fabulous! Thank you for telling me about his Wayne. He must have been an extraordinary man. You are blessed.

Hi Ariel,
Yes, love is the greatest force in the universe. Thanks for sharing.

Bill

It is the only force..yes? thanks for being here.

Love you, Ariel..
My heart's already gone. Between my wife of 38 years and a dozen or so of the 20 exchange students we've hosted, it's LONG gone!
Oh, that can't be true! I just told you that I love you! I must still have some to give away!
Nice to realize!
Thanks, as ever....
Tim

Aww Tim..thank you! And its true..love never ever never runs out! It just grows..yes? Your wife is so lucky to have you. May you both just keep spreading that love...

Beautiful post thanks Ariel!
Ian

Hello Ian, so many thanks... how are you?

This is so profound Ariel! I'll have to think about it to give you a reply worthy of this blog.

Goran you are speechless??? hmmmm the poet? I look forward to it.

Living life to the fullest, to me, means doing as much good as we can in our short visit to planet earth. Love (agape) of our fellows in creation, whether animal or human, brings us nearer in likeness to our ever loving, most Merciful Creator. We should be to Him as the drop of water is to sea, same in substance and purpose, only infinitely smaller in our endeavors.

Lovely, hopeful, relevant. Thank you,
Ariel
