hey guys, I am wondering if there are any downsides to using add on domains on my shared hosting provider sites - specifically in terms of SEO and rankings etc? any advice woul

In terms of SEO and rank, no.

The only real downside I've experienced is if you ever need to break those domains out on their own(separate hosting), it may be entirely up to you to do it. Not necessarily a big downside, but I just don't really like messing with that stuff. :)

Addon domains are really just subdomains that your host makes look like a regular domain.

At this point, for hosting outside of WA, I use a reseller account so each domain has it's own cpanel.

cool thanks so much Chris!

Hi my website 'mypillowzone.com' has "this site uses cookies" as its main message in bold when you open the page. I can't see it in the edit page area - any ideas how to change

I don't see it either when I checked your page.

Also maybe you don't have cookies enabled on your own personal computer so you would see that message if you visited a site that needs cookies to operate.

It wasn't there when I clicked on your link

thanks Robert - i think i might have found it - was a cookie plug-in and have unistalled it

You need that cookie warning when your website is active in the EU.
A less overwhelming plugin is the
EU Cookie Law
It's just one line

Cool thanks!
