What Are Some Key Elements Your Homepage Should Have?

You only have a second to capture your visitor attention and make an impression. Your homepage should be the most important page you need to think about. Why simply because this is your chance to convert your visitors into the lead or possible long-life customers.

Headline

As I mention you only have a couple of seconds to tell your visitor what they can expect from your website. Use attention-grabbing headline keep it clear and simple.

Sub-headline

This tells your visitor how your product or service can improve their lives. Also, Sub-headline should encourage your readers to do something by giving them an explanation of why they should take action.

(CTA) Call-To-Action

This is one important element your homepage should have is a call-to-action. This triggers your visitors to take action or to dive in deeper to what you're offering.

Images

Most people are visual readers, and using supporting images that related to what you are offering on your site.

The Benefits

It's just important to talk about the benefits of buying or listening to you. You should talk about how your product or service can change their lives. You should talk about why they should join or sign up today and lastly you should talk about the price to get it. How much is it going to cost them?

Links To Your Social Media Circle.

You want your visitors to follow your business on social media. Linking your social media circle on your homepage is how your readers can follow and engage with your website.

Menu Navigation

You want to make your visitor good experience navigating around on your website. So your menu should be easy to understand to your visitors so they know where they want to go next on your site. Include things like About Me, Resources, Blog, Home, etc.

Contact Info

Making it easy for your readers to contact support or contact you if they have any question about your product or services. Your visitor should be able to find contact info on your homepage.

Blog Content Offer

Encourage your visitors to subscribe to your blog content by giving a little something away for Free if they subscribe. This where you start to build a relationship with your visitors. By adding a subscription box form on your homepage does very well in getting them to subscribe.

Resources

This is where you provide your visitors with the tools and resources they need to succeed. Provide them with links that can redirect them to learn more. This is very important to have on your homepage.

Real Testimonies

Having real life testimonies on your homepage add more value to your business. By having people success stories really help to convert more readers into buyers. Real testimonies tell your readers they can trust in your product or services. Testimonies build trust with your visitors.

Introduction Video

If you really want to make a good impression on your visitors try adding an intro video. You can explain exactly what your business is all about, You can do a lot with an intro video, you can go wrong with this key element on your homepage. Trying not to make to long video keep short and to the point within the time frame of about (3 minutes or less) That way your visitors won't lose interest.

My video is a little long, but it is the kind that can be left at whatever point the visitors wants.

I am going to delete some on my homepage and add other things you recommended.

I like the navigation and the contact number. I assume it is the email we have on our site. Or should we give our personal email?

I also want to add the testimonies.

Thanks for your advice on the homepage.

You write "You only have a second to capture your visitor attention and make an impression". I had a look at your link. Wonder how you would drive traffic to it, how you expect to have visitors. There is no way to do this by organic traffic. Paid traffic?

I was commenting because I was curious, not for "likes". So I am still curious how you drive traffic to such a landing page.

You do not pay for actual traffic. You do, however, sign up on a Website that gives you traffic for a price.

I recommend it highly. There is one for about $ 20.00. You can have the traffic, but there is no guarantee for visitors to buy.

Do you know Robert Allan? He has helped a lot of people here on WA and is trustworthy.

Here is a link from Robert that will get you visitors to your site.
This is what you call "paid traffic".

So you suggest a home page to be different than the actual blog page. My site is set to static home page.
To improve it should I set it to home and make a home page like you say above?
Does this make sense?

I see what you are doing. I am just now beginning the boot camp. So your site is so gorgeous it intimidates me just a bit. I bet when I am finished with boot camp I will feel more comfortable.

You OK if I bookmark your site for future inspiration?
