Motivate Yourself
Motivate Yourself
We are taught from a very young age to get a good education and at the very least are encouraged to graduate high school so the we know 2 + 2= 4….and when we get change from buying a bag of chips at the local convenience store, we’ve enough sense to know that we’re not getting ripped off.
Unfortunately, a great deal of our lives is spent doing things or meeting the expectations of other people. Either through a series of life events, getting bad advice from individuals that mean well or through folks that are working their own agenda. Not that this is all a bad thing mind you, in fact it can be very educational. I believe it to be just another piece in the art of survival puzzle, co-existing cooperatively in society and well.....just living your life.
But what about that piece of the puzzle where you get to do what you want to do without your actions or results being dictated or manipulated through the choices and misdirection of others?
Hmmmm.
Putting It in Drive – Punch It Bishop!
One day you wake up, ask yourself, “Is this all there is?” and begin to see the world through a different set of eyes.
You reflect a bit, decide thing’s in your life need to change and initiate steps to start calling your own shots – what, when and how the rest of your life is going to play out.
The cool part about a transition like this is once things get put into motion, you realize afterwards just how much better your life really is, how much better you feel about yourself and how much more you are enjoying your life.
You smile at your wife, partner or close friend during casual conversation…they tilt their head, squint their eyes, smile back atcha and give you the look – you know the “what hell is going on with you?” look, LOL…. Priceless!
They haven’t got a clue, but YOU know what’s going on.
Self-worth
Believe in yourself and your personal talents. You DO have them you know!
Everyone has at least one special talent to share and through community support and recognition it will surface and be realized.
There are huge lessons to be learned when unleashing this kind of energy….so get on with it facrissakes!!!.

I put myself in a good place and look for a better future. Thanks for a good inspiration Andy.
Oh so lovely. There are so many people who would love to make those changes but are scared to or don't know where to start. Olive
Yup the American dream and the so called normal life that mainstream society expects us to live is no way to really live. I'm still trying to figure out how to make money to survive with this alternative life, though, but I think what we're all doing here is one way.

A wonderful post. Truly inspirational and motivational. It is because of this kind of attitude and free sharing of wisdom I have begun to value WA so much...and I've only been here for a week.
Keep up your great work, Andy. It's a pleasure to be connected with you.
Thanks for the kind words Claudio!
