I am trying to put googlr adsence on my website. and I don't know where to go to do that I have the html code copied and I know what to do when I get there but I cant get there

The code to get approved by Adsense needs to go into the header section of your website

You will have to put it either on a post a page or in a widget - the post/page editors have a 'text' tab where you can insert html. You should also have a widget for custom html as well - and then you can put that wherever your theme allows.

Where is my html on my website?

I just wanted to pay my membership a few days early to get it done and I cant find a place to do it. The only thing i see besides a yearly is to cancel your account. How do i d

Hi Leah, it sounds like you may have found an answer to this question from what's given below, but please let me know if you can't find the payment info. :)

Thank you yes I did find what I needed. I have a quick ? I was wondering can you run any affiliate on your website you choose or is there a rule about it matching or referring some way to the subject matter of the site?

Yes you can add any types of affiliate products or services that you want to promote on your site but it's wise to choose those that are in your niche for your site, definitely.

You want to stay within your niche because this way your visitors can find other posts that will help them on your site and stay longer on your site which all helps you rank.

I hope this answers your question, but please let me know if you need more clarification or if I misunderstood your question.

Grace

Yes it answered it perfectly. Now I have another question. I have already made two sites just because I learn better doing while being taught. I wanted to put my ideas to work as they came and see what it looked like and how it fit as far as a niche that I could work and develop. What I found was this. My first site is about telemarketing I chose it simply because I am a professional fund raiser in that field. I cant seem to narrow it down enough to really make since of it. My other site is a very serious site about the disease of addiction. This is something I am so passionate about but making money from it will be very involved. What I would like to do is build a site targeting functional addicts that want to start there own business most people struggling from life long addiction never dream they can own a website or business. If I could some how promote WA on my specific website I make to earn money I think I could come up with ranking content and the whole bit with ease. My question is there a way I can do this? do I have to take the other training here at wa what do you suggest?

That is certainly one way of looking at it, for your addiction site. The other option that would stay more niche is getting them the help they need with their adddiction so if you looked up affiliate programs to medicine or therapy programs that help addicts, then you would convert way better than asking them to build a business.

I would think that would be the last thing on their minds and getting help to be better would be their priority.

Your addiction site can also make money from self help products and many other products that can help them get better vs getting them to build their own business.

But if building a business is what addicts want, and this is something you know for sure, then yes you would build this site according to the Bootcamp training.

Sorry for my delayed response, I’m on vacation at the moment.

no apology needed. I understand what your saying I guess you would have to understand the context my addiction site is in. You are correct if my site was about addiction in a traditional form but its very different. Thank you so much for all your help. I recently made a mistake and submitted a comment that was supposed to be feedback I feel like such a rookie but now I cant find the response so I can apologize it was very dumb mistake. How can I find the person who recieved so i can apologize?

If you’re doing the commenting through Site Comments, I’m not sure. It’s just a learning experience, no worries, you’ll get a hang of it. I’m not sure you can find out even if you did remember their website url.

You’re right, it’s your niche so you would know then which direction to go so just follow what you think it’s best for your site and follow the appropriate training for it. :)

The payment is automatically withdrawn from your account each month you but can choose to cancel your membership at any time. You can switch to yearly making a single payment for a reduced price if you prefer that.

Hi! There should be an option for you to add the payment source such as PayPal or Credit Card as funding source for your Premium Membership in your account settings. Head over to Payment Source and update your payment details. :)

thank you that helped its done ty

Welcome and glad to hear that it did helps you! :)

I have two websites one is paid one free how do i use the site content at wa you know where you make templates and set goals i am so confused.

Hi Leah, Site Content is found on left menu under Websites, Site Content.

You can write there to publish articles on any of your sites. You will have a choice where your post will be published to, so you'll be able to post it to either site at that time when you select the site you want.

When you first go into Site Content, there are templates you can start your post with but you don't have to use any templates if you don't want to and you don't have to create any.

Also, sitting goals is just something you could do on your own or on your profile, or that thread where everyone sets their goals, you don't have to do it in Site Content.

Hope this helps you,
Grace

oh ok I see well thank you. Most of my content I have been posting from word press but I got into the goal thing in WA and wanted to use it as a guide for myself. Thanks so much for the timely answer you guys are great.

You're very welcome. :)

Just do both sites articles in SiteContent. Then when you publish the first item to select is 'Choose a Website'. So pick the one you want.

Thank you very much for WA and of course answering my questions. I already put my niche idea out to the community. They seem to think it will work fine but I still don't know.

Hi! Welcome to WA. I'm new here, too. But I've made it to level 3 in the Online Business Training. While I'm still green, I think I can help.

Let me make sure I understand your concerns:

1. You're worried your passion won't make money, so you're trying a different niche.

2. You're so passionate about your niche that if you make this attempt, you want to do it right.

Is that accurate? If so, then here's my response:

It's OK to work on a site that isn't your passion-- but only if the following things are true:

* You won't forsake your passion. So, you promise yourself you'll come back to it soon.

* You still enjoy the niche you're currently working on.

* You don't let perfectionism keep you from starting a task or project.

Doing a niche outside your passion won't work if you don't at least enjoy the topic. You'll have to produce a lot of content. If you don't care about the topic or the niche, then you'll struggle with building your site. But if you do enjoy your current niche, then this isn't such a problem. Most people suggest that you don't try to build two sites at once. So, turn your attention to your passion after you've established your current site.

As you go through the lessons, everything will start coming together. You'll learn that your site becomes a mix of helping others and offering them things they need. So, enjoying what you're doing counts-- a lot!

You can't let perfectionism get in the way. You'll make mistakes. But here's the good news: you'll also learn from those mistakes! You'll also learn how other people build their sites and you'll gain insight from others. You'll also get site feedback along the way. That will give you a chance to adjust and tweak things as you grow.

Without a doubt, you'll be able to apply what you've learned towards your true passion.

But don't avoid your passion forever. You'll always regret that later.

When you work in your passion, you're likely to do your best work. People will notice and become attracted to that. That's where you'll shine.

As for making money-- I'm sure you'll find affiliate programs that address addictions. You can use Google to search from some affiliates. Type "additions + affiliate programs" in the search bar (without the quotes). Play around with different search terms. Then read about the different affiliate programs in that niche. Look for one that sounds trustworthy. Also, check out other sites related to your niche. How do their sites attract traffic? How do they make money?

You'll also learn that generating e-mail lists and leveraging social medial is important. So in some niches, the website is only the beginning. Keep that in mind, too.

And who knows-- you might make lots of money in other niches. Then, you can let your passion be a labor of love or a non-profit service to the community. So, your other niche sites can bring in the money and free up your time in the future. Then, you can take your newfound free time and place it into your passion. That's assuming you can't find a way to monetize your passion with your site.

I hope this helps. Best wishes on your endeavors at WA. And best wishes on keeping your addition managed and under control. You're not alone!

Thank you so much for the inside and the advice I do appreciate it the niche that I'm working on now I don't like as much as I do my other one my other one addiction is my baby my prize but the one I'm working on right now is enjoying it to me I work in the field I know lots about it and it's my practice. So from the sounds of it I must be on the right track you really helped by clarifying A few things in your response and I do appreciate that thank you so much for your input I really do appreciate everybody here at wa this is one of the best things I've ever done and I feel really good about it I don't get that bad gut feeling I get a really great and exciting good feeling about this so thank you again and I'm sure that we will be talking.

Glad to help! Yes, the WA community is a great group of people. I was thinking about that earlier today. The community is worth the price of admission! Take care and much success!

Well here I go.. I have struggled with drug addiction my whole life. When i say my whole life I mean all but about 7 or so years. Now I have no criminal record or anything like

Well thank you I feel a lot less doubtful about the whole thing. I really want to help others that suffer its a terrible thing to live with and in my life (in the beginning) addicts were not looked at as sick people they were seen as bad people. I know that is still the case at times. But there is so much more knowledge now it gives us a fighting chance. Now I am in no way saying addicts dont do bad things because of drugs. But I want the world to know that we are people we have talents, dreams, gifts.feelings and our lives are spent fighting an enemy in some cases we don't know we have. When we do figure it out its either to late or we are given this horrible picture of ourselves that we just give in too; Because we feel like the world must be right there the ones that are sober! Well I want to help people to find a way to see themselves for what they really are or want to become. I have been able to develop away to look at myself that gives me worth I refuse to see myself the way people have labeled addicts to be. I could go on and on sorry. I better save stuff for my new website.LOL!!!! Thank you everyone.

Yes, that's a great niche as it's one that you're passionate about and you can relate to others as they go through the various stages.

You may find some inspiration from Lynne who has had similar experiences

First of all congratulations for getting through that and coming out the other side strong and positive.

Sounds like an amazing idea for a niche. I'm sure there are affiliate product and services out there that you can create income from by directing people in similar situations to. You would need to do some research.

You could just promote WA through your niche site. This is a great place to be for anyone looking to change or improve their life. Its all in the bootcamp training modules.

Best of luck and don't give up.
