Hello guys !

I am french and ...not fluent in english. I mean I can write and read... I guess it's a good beginning. But sometimes my english is very awkward. Hopefully, you don't hear me talking english. I need to be so concentrated than I could look at you with "big eyes" and a few minutes after having a talk with me you will think "OMG, she is mad".

No don't worry, I am not mad. Just curious, enthusiast, and ...happy to be in this community.

Before being a member of Wealthy Affiliate, I built 2 blogs. These 2 blogs are my portfolio for my clients, to show them my work. Now, I am very grateful to have found WA because I don't feel alone in front of my laptop and I can follow great course.

Now that I am more confident , I would like to know if there are some french people here ? I am very curious about it because this community is great and the way Kyle and Carson teach us is exactly the way french people should learn. I mean in France, we learn a lot with "book" and we talk about mistakes first. Here we learn with "experiences" and we talk about "good stuffs" first. Do you know what I mean ?

Anyway, let's continue , and I wish you a lot of success !

Take care, Audrey

Salut du Canada.

Bonne chance sur WA.

à bientôt

Pierre

Hello Audrey, in my humble opinion your grasp of the English language is just fine. It is more than sufficient to communicate with other members of the WA community. As time marches on you will expand your knowledge of vocabulary and grammar. You will be fluent in English before you know it.

Good Luck

Liam

Hello Liam ! You're right...2 years ago I didn't speak english....Every day I read, watch movies, in english... and now I talk with the community WA ! Thank you so much for your nice message (and thanksfully to you I learnt 2 new words ;-)), Audrey

Hello Audrey, you are welcome. Your dedication and hard work is definitely paying off. To say, in a two year period you have went from NO English to being able to communicate and understand is excellent.

Keep up the good work

Liam

Hello Audrey,

Is it the day that the French people want to change the language of the WA site?
Because Cedric was asking more or less the same question this morning... But no, you will have to do it in English...

By the way: I think your English is more than good enough to be able to do everything here at WA and you also will be approving your English, so that's actually good news.

It is weird that French people always want everything in their own language... I talk general, not personally because I work in Brussels and I see this every day...
My personal opinion is that you guys have everything in French in your own country, the best example: they do use subtitling, but they replace the other language by a French voice...
It is just a personal idea, but maybe you can agree or disagree with this, always nice to hear another opinion... :-)

Anyway: I also said to Cedric: If something is not clear because it is in English, you can always ask....

Grtz,
Bert

Hello Bert , thank you for your message ! Well, maybe I didn't explained enough good my thought. It is not a problem that the website is in english. I am not looking for the same in french. Every day I am reading articles and websites in english because , in my opinion, they are better than those in french. I was just wondering if there are other french people in the community.
About your opinion, you're right. Everything is in french here but I guess it's not the problem. The problem here in France, and it's not just a problem, it's also a shame, it's we don't speak english ! our english is very bad.... Again it's because of the way we learn foreign languages here. But I am 38 so my english courses are far.... Maybe the way teachers teach english at school now is better. I hope !
Thank you Bert for give me a comments and I am impatient to share other ideas ! Have a great work here...and a lot of success, Audrey

Well, I have sent you the blog Cedric, he's French. But also the guy who's website lead me to WA is actually English, but lives already more than 20 years in France and he is a member of the site for more than 1,5 year: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/dordpete
I think he can be the perfect guy to ask info about things of WA that you want to talk about in French...

Another tip that gives me more self-esteem when I have to write in English is www.grammarly.com maybe you already know this from your Blog experience...
But I just added the Grammarly extension in Chrome and it corrects all my errors. But I have the free version when you have the paid version he will also correct more than only words....

Anyway: Also for you tons of success and Goodluck!

Grtz,
Bert

Thank you Bert ! I am now connected with Pete. I didn't know "gram marly.com". Thank you again for this app, it will help me ! See you !
