Setting goals
Do you have goals set in place or are you flying by the seat of your pants? Yes, we all have the same goal of earning an income so we can be totally self sufficient. However, do you have specific timelines for when this will be completed? Have you written your goals out so you have then to look at whenever you falter?
For me, my goals are to be completely out of debt by the end of 2015. I plan on becoming self sufficient in whatever manner I need by then as well. I am looking to have my current website fully functional and complete all the trainings by the end of December 2014. I will have my ecommerce site active by January 15, 2015 and my coaching site up and ready by March 15, 2015, if not before.
For more information on setting goals, please look at this post on my site. It goes into further details of how to set your personal goals and work to achieve them.

Alison, those are some ambitious goals and especially with the holidays coming. Good for you. I like your site. I'm a crafter as well. Another book I have and like is Origami for children by Mari Ono and Roshin Ono. It's just very nicely done.
I have one big goal and everything goes to that. I want my husband and I to be able to retire. We got wiped out with the little we had saved in 2008 and, at this rate, we'll be working until we're 101. We've been married 42 years and have raised kids and worked most of those years. We want to have a little time for ourselves. That's my big goal and everything goes to that. I don't have little mini goals leading up to that point, though.
That is a great goal, Carla! Little goals just help to get to the big one. Just keep up what you are doing and before you know it, your goals will be met!
