I Just Earned my First $1.50!
Hey Everyone!
I just earned my first $1.50 through my Amazon! I am really happy to say the least. While it is a modest start, I hope to earn much more in the future. To anyone who doubts this system, you have to keep at it. Like making a diamond, it takes time and pressure to create something like a successful affiliate website. I have not even been here 6 months, only since October 2017.
Unfortunately, during my Winter Quarter at UC Santa Cruz, I slacked off on my website, going for weeks without publishing a single article. I was taking 22 units, so I was quite busy. Now though, I have decided to go at the steady pace of 2 articles a week. Given the upper division courses I am taking along with other responsibilities, I am doing what I can sustain.
Also, this post would be incomplete without a shoutout to Rick (Belden22). He gave me my first commission on my site because he believes in it. He supports it. Rick is a testament to the strength of this community and the support we give to one another. If you can do the same for other members of this excellent community, then that is phenomenal.
Currently, at my website, My Camping and Hiking Tips, I have 48 posts, 764 comments (half are mine), and 50% site trust. My traffic is not where I want it to be at, but I am still in the Google sandbox. It will take time, but that is part of the process here.
Be patient and persistent. No one ever consistently succeeded overnight. It takes persistence and patience. Thank you so much and I hope you make your website great!

You're welcome Alex. Keep up your efforts with Amazon. I just checked my Amazon earnings for 2017 to find they were a total of $294.38. Maybe not a lot of earnings for a year but with low commission and little work to do once it's set up, I'm happy with those results.
