What is Going On?
Hello dear WA Friends
So, as soon as I wrote, in my last blog, that my articles on my website are converting really well - guess what? They are not converting really well.
Correction.
Not converting at all.
What is going on?
Admitting I only get about 20-40 visitors per day (mostly organic traffic), but still.
The first 15 referrals (none has upgraded to Premium as yet) came from much less traffic.
And, in the last two weeks - nothing.
I have about 60 articles on my site (I'm behind my schedule...), ten of which are on the first page of Google, and most of the other ones are on the pages 2 and 3.
Do you have any helpful insights as to what I should do, apart from continue to work hard and wait?

Heya Alenka, I echo what everyone is else is saying in the comments below. You're doing grrrrreat! The fact that you're even considering conversions at this stage, shows how advanced you are in your thinking. And I'm sure your posts are brilliant if you're already getting WA referrals. It's a long term game and you've got this.
My prediction is, you are moments away from referring your first Premium member. Keep doing what you're doing.

Thanks so much for your kind words. Yes, I guess the 'success' is closer than I think.
I was super chuffed at first when I had, like, 4 visitors to my site and one of them would sign up. That seemed really amazing.
This is why I'm confused as to why there are no referrals now when I have ten times more traffic.
In any case, I'm sure it'll all be fine in the end :)

Fully empathise with your comments, I have been here since March 2018 and still getting very little traffic, but I will keep on working on my site and doing all the training until I get some response. I think all your replies below have the best answers to this. I have written a post on my website called 3 P's Patience... Perseverance... Persistence! are our best friends. lets embrace them all.

I am new here but I think if we just keep doing what we are doing we will get some were at some point I have 5 articles on my site only 2 ranked in google. I have only been here a week but here we just don’t give up just keep moving forward.
If out of your 60 articles, 10 are ranking on page 1 then it sounds like you're learning how to consistently optimize your content with solid SEO and this is a good thing. The more you write the more page 1 rankings you can look forward to.
You're not doing anything wrong. This is how traffic works. As you said yourself your traffic is just starting to build. Continue that positive growth and the conversions will come :)
The one piece of advice I would give is to not spend too much time looking at your analytics. It's the quickest way to take time away from your content building. It's like staring at the clock on the wall when you're wanting to leave class or jumping on a scale 15 times a day to see how your weight loss is coming along.
Focus all your energy on that content and continue to optimize it to get even more page 1 rankings. You're doing things right :)

I'll continue to write optimized content and will see what the next six months bring.
Regarding checking the stats: actually, I've managed to implement the system where I check all the stats only once every or every other day. (Basically, there isn't much to check...LOL)

Keep up your solid content building :) I'd check in on analytics once a month, if even that. You'll find when you focus on your content which you're doing a good job ranking with you won't feel the need for checkups. Once you start getting consistent conversions, you can start looking into analytics to see which keywords/posts/etc are converting highest and go from there. :)

Hear, hear... I only check on my analytics once every 3 to 6 months. Usually only when a potential client asks me to check. But that's just me, and probably only because I find Google analytics depressing. I like encouraging stats, like seeing my Domain Authority climbing. Or money in the bank.

Same with me.. People are going from the reviews to my relevant pitch of the alternative (wa review or make money guide), they are clicking on my WA affiliate link, but they are not signing up for the free trial. Not sure why!
First week of the month I got 5 free referrals, from which two became premium.
After that, zero free referrals.
I think the new year resolution has ended already :))
I believe that we need more traffic than what we are getting now.
If I were to blame anyone other than myself, I would blame the scammers who promote their crap as: push this button and become a millionaire in a month.
They are brainwashing people who will become more difficult to convert into wa members.
Anyway, smart-hard work and persistence will pay off finally. We have to be patient.

I think you might well be right in stating there are so many scammers out there and people believe them.
I guess, the only thing left to do is to continue producing content and see what happens in six months time.

isn't this the end of the longest payday month , with next month being the shortest.
so maybe people are just looking and dreaming at the moment and it will pickup next month or after, but you need to build on your traffic.

Hi Alenka, wow so many good answers and advice there.
You are doing just great, don't stress too fast, there is a lot of us who haven't made page one on google yet; me included.
I think that is an awesome achievement.
If all your articles as you say are ranking up so well then it is just a matter of time and your content is obviously sufficient.
All I can suggest is maybe tweak your content a little, try a different approach, maybe change or add something that is not well known or that will grab the attention of the reader.
