August Bank Holiday Today in the UK
I'm a Poet and I didn't even know it !!!!!
That's 2 lines of poetry already, I am in the UK and I have a holiday today as it's the first Monday in August ( any excuse for me to have a holiday) I think we have an actual one the end of this month.
It's a Glorious sunny day with the birds singing and the Squirrels running around my garden, it's times like this when you tend to reflect on days passed bye and indeed think about what lies ahead.
Typical day off for me is quality time together, as I have just retired from a manual working life I guess I don't appreciate it, as when I was working 8 till 5 six days a week, that dreaded alarm going off at 6am left me in a state of my god I wish I could just have the choice of will I or wont I get up now,
I have that choice now and at 62 I deserve that choice, I look forward to each day now and absolutely love this WA industry where you work when you want to work and meet all the fantastic guys here, today I just had great contact with Keane from Jamaica who is also a football nut like me, how would I ever have been in contact with a guy from Jamaica without WA.
Work hard and look forward to your retirement you never know if you stick at this you could retire a lot quicker then I did.
This afternoon I am going to spend the time watching another favourite sport of mine UK horse racing, I love watching their proud physique and they are magnificent thoroughbreds.
