Another Football (Soccer) Season Is Nearly Here Again
I Don't Know What I'd Do Without The Beautiful Game
At this time of each year I have to treat myself to a bit of me time, and as you can see by my Headline it's to lose myself in the best and most skilful game in the world.
We are so lucky here in the UK that we have the best football league known as the Premiership, where it has attracted the best players to be found or should I say nearly all the best Players, I'm sure Spain, Germany, Italy would argue with that statement.
I have to say the TV coverage we get from Sky and BT Sport is amazing, we usually have live games Midweek Tuesday / Wednesday, then usually a Lunchtime kick off on a Saturday, followed by a 5-30 pm game, and on the Sunday the same. I'm lucky my wife loves the game as well, we, as all our family are Tottenham Hotspur Supporters known as the Spurs.
There are loads of good teams in the Premiership and my money would be on Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal,or Chelsea to win the league, they have all spent millions to try and buy the Premiership, that's really what it has come down to, who has the most money, sad really isn't it.
Anyway after promoting our Premiership to you all, I have to say a big mention to the USA Squad that entertained us all at the World Cup in Brazil, Jurgen Klinsman the Coach (ex Spurs Player) did a fantastic job and I loved watching The USA National Team.
I guess it sums Football up really in that I have heaped praise on our Premiership teams, in the UK, but our National Team at the World Cup were awful, and while it hurts me to say it, our league comprises of more Foreign players and without them added to our home grown players it would not be as successful as it is. The Germans are well ahead and doing things the right way.
Anyway I have to dream that Tottenham will lift the Premiership trophy this season, well a Man has to dream, hasn't he !!!! .

Can't wait for the season to start again, thankfully we had the World Cup to get us through the summer though. My team, Aberdeen, started a few weeks ago in Europa league but look to be heading out now at the hands of real sociedad unfortunately. My English team is spurs though and I think they enter at the next round. So good luck for the season ahead!

You never know. See how LFC almost clenched the BPL trophy last season. Maybe your dream will come true for Tottenham. BTW, I was glad Arsenal won the FA cup.
