Reaching 4 Month Anniversary Successes
It seems like just a few days ago. September 4, 2016 is the Kick off date! I am even more excited than when I began this jouney with my Wealthy Affiliate family. Creating a legitimate income from home is challenging and extremely empowering.
My non-monetary successes so far are that I have built two websites and Both are indexed by Google! I have written several Pages and Blogs for the websites and eight, almost nine, Blogs within the WA community. Writing, I thought would be an obstacle to my success. I was gladly mistaken! Where there is Passion, Interest and Persistence, Success will follow.
My Ranking within the community is 500-700. This range is comfortable for me at this moment in my training. It's difficult to take advantage of most of the knowledge, write awesome content, fight through my lack of tech issues and participate consistantly with my WA family. (also work a full time JOB) Every now and then I am able to assist with questions on the Live Chat by sharing training links I have Bookmarked. This is very rewarding and is definately a success!
There are 376 members Following me! I am proud to say I have accumulated quite a network of powerful and knowledgeable members and also motivated, driven newbies, like myself. I consider these members my family and I make an obvious effort to read, comment and appreciate their works and efforts.
What are some of your non-monetary goals you have reached in a short time, or long, here at WA? Have you accomplished something with the help of this community you never thought you would accomplish?
I'd like to hear your thoughts and accomplishments.
Cheers,
Gregory

Hey, Michael. Can you tell I'm pumped! I appreciate you taking the time to read and respond.
Gregory
PS. I conveniently forgot to mention I am only in Course 2 Lesson 7 of the Certification Class and Course 1 Lesson 8 of Affiliate Bootcamp!
I'm behind but have read posts, question, and looked at the constant training that stream these university walls. Enough to build a foundation.
This is fantastic, Gregory! I can't believe you have had this much success and have held down a full-time job as well! Do you sleep at night? Ha! Hey, I wish my ranking was still 500 - 700. Then I wouldn't appear to be as much the expert as I'm NOT! That being said, however, I have learned a ton! And, I'm proud of what I've learned.
For me, the learning is paramount. I'm not worried about the income for now. That should come in due time, if I stay true to the training process.
Even though I have learned a great deal, there's still so much I don''t know. I don''t guess we can ever expect to learn it all. The goal for me is to learn a little more every day.
I do wish I could have someone with far greater expertise examine my website settings to see if I have everything set up correctly. For example, I don't think I have the Google stuff right, yet.
To be honest with you, I'm a Mac guy. I've never got involved with the Google world. So Google, Gmail, and Google Plus is so confusing to me. I'm not sure which is what even now. I set up a Youtube site, and it is related to Google. I had to change a password and now my Google Plus site isn't pointing to the correct site.
It's stuff like this that I don't know how to handle. Don't even know the questions to ask!
I'm sure we all face issues like this. It's part of the learning process. I'm an SJ on Myers Briggs and a perfectionist, so I'm not right until I know I've correctly dealt with issues like this.
I feel like a plugin! Why? Because I keep plugging away! Get it? Ha!
Sermon over! Or, is it a rant?
Best wishes, Gregory!
Sermon or rant, Amen.
Marty, there is so much I could respond to. I'll spare my later visitors. lol
Your comments and input are so appreciated.
I can't help you at the level you are but I bet when you figure out what the question is....someone here will gladly share their knowledge with you.
God Bless you,
Gregory
Yes, you are right. There are plenty of folks around who want to help. That's just one thing that makes this WA process so great!
Gregory,
You've made great progress. I've been here over a year and haven't written nearly as many posts as you. Being active in the community is good for many reasons, but my immediate short term goals are to remain focused on my website. As a result, my member ranking has taken a bit of a hit but i'm OK with that.
Erica
Erica, thanks for stopping by to say hello. Your short term goal is worthy of your attention. The training and staying focused should be your first priority!
Stay in touch and share with me your site when you are ready.
Cheers,
Gregory
