I started Internet marketing about 2 years ago but nothing works out. I always want to have a plenty of time with my family but never come true. I had tried a variety small businesses and moved around more than 10 states in the US. At last, I came back to my state and make a living as aircraft maintenance.
I love reading but I never good in writing and spoken English. Now, I am the in final year to complete my first degree in management science. Today, I get so excited to learn a new thing in WA and decided to learn everything possible for a long time. I am willing to learn from every member in WA.

hi maun, How do I fix my posts in order? I'm having trouble fixing it. As for the home page how do you navigate it to my recent posts. I watched the videos managing menus and widgets several times and it seems that my theme won't support some of it. can you check my site and tell me what's wrong with it? thanks maun.

Hi Mary,
You will need to check the Setting on the Wordpress dashboard.
To do this, log in your WordPress dashboard. On the left side of the WP dashboard, you will see "Setting". Under "Setting" click on "Reading". On the next window, you will see " Front Page Display". Then check " Your Latest Post".
Then, save your setting.
If it not works, maybe your theme does not support this feature.

Hello, thanks for the reply. I finally fixed it, but boy it took me over 24 hours before I figured it out. So, here's what I did. Under plugin, I installed a "Post re-order" plugin. I know I'm not supposed to put more plugins that could slow down my site. But I was thinking by installing this one would not hurt. As my theme does not support some of these applications without installing extra plugins. It's quite hard in my opinion because if you choose a theme it should tell you what your theme are capable of whenever you get stuck on to something. But unfortunately, it's not going to be the case as every theme is different.

Hi maun thanks for your reply. I have a question I redirected my site to my other url and it says the new site is not indexed. How long does google index the new site or they don't have to index it since all my posts and pages had been previously index by google? Is that how it works? I'll be posting some new article and I really want to do affiliate since I have an amazon affiliate. Can you pls tell me what to do? I dont know how to fix this.

Not link embedded yet sorry that is not what I meant. I mean I have amazon associates account which I could use to promote products later on. but I'm more concern about the new website. It is not index yet but with the other one. It got index right away even though I was not done with some of the content yet. All I did was redirected my website to the new build website because of some errors I had on the previous site. I was told not to delete the old website since all pages and posts were indexed by google and not to give google the confusion of ranking your site. After 30 days I'm allowed to delete it according to site support. So, does google do re-indexing the site or no? My pages and posts are the same it's just redirecting. |Thanks for the link by the way Maun.

Hi, so everything is done except for the personal photos. I also have my search keywords. question is how long does it take for the google to get the site ranked. I don't have clarity on this. but when I typed my url it's on there. but it says domain is unavailable or my site is on a snapshot on google but not really where audience can see it. Am I missing something. Thanks Maun

It usually takes a few days to several weeks depending on the age of your website to get ranked on Google. You should fetch all the posts after you have published them on Google Search Console. If a website is old enough, the posts are usually get ranked in hours.

Yes, just keep on posting new posts. Some posts may get ranked, but some posts may not get ranked even if you do everything.
The break-in period for a new website is about 3 months. After 3 months, most of your posts will get ranked and some older posts will get ranked higher on Google.

Building online business takes time and effort at the beginning, but when it up and running you have a lot of potentials. It can be sustainable for a long time. You can make money online 1000 + ways, but this might not be sustainable in the long run.
So takes WA as a long-term strategy or as a part of a career.

hi. how are you. just dropping by to ask about course 2 if I'm not mistaken either lesson 8 or 9 that we do not have to put anything on the description nor tags because it's all included in SEO packed so all we have to worry about is what keywords you are supposed to put for google ranking. Oh I see what you mean. Yes I was talking about SEO. One more question, do you recommend putting visuals on what about me page? And also what about Customizing background for colors. Yes, you should put in some visuals that relevant to your About Me page like your photo or your family pictures. I mean something that you can connect with your audience.
The background color is up to you. If you customize the background, don't use the red or very bright color. In a real sense, plain and simple is the best.

My contents are done, under the contents there are titles, descriptions, search keywords. I know you have to write your keywords but what about tags, titles and description? and it should be 60 characters long for the description do I need to write something on there too? If so, can I use my first paragraph on every content I made instead of creating another description? Sorry, I'm just having trouble understanding it. 2. You can use your first paragraph but do not overuse them in every page or post. After you create your posts, you will want to update it and then publish it to make your audience see it.

If you create a content using the SiteContent here in WA, you can see if your content is unique or not.
According to Google management team, they about 30% duplicated contents that ranked.
Another thing is if you write freely, it is very hard to have a content duplicated. So just take it easy.

hello Maun, I got everything fixed. my menus and widgets are all set up well if i'd like to make some changes I will do it in the future. I changed my theme my previous one doesn't support any changes that I like. I'm onto my level 1 understanding keywords... I'm getting the hang of it. Someone told me from the live chat that I can make some changes on my website cause its not live yet eventhough google has indexed it. so I have nothing to worry about. Have a great day!!!

You can make changes whatever you like, but before you do any change make sure you back up your file. This is very important. If you do change things even update Wordpress plugin without backing up your files. Sometimes, you can lose the files and you will have to do everything from the start again.

In SEO general setting, you will find ( Post, Page, Media). Just leave them as they are because they are already programmed. I mean don't chech or mark them.
Nofollow is used when you link to other sites, and tell google you don't want to give credit to the site you link to or be associated with the site. For example, if you have to link to a scam site just for reference, that would be a good time to use it.
Noindex is when you don't want Google to see one of your pages. This is used if you want to test sales pages for PPC, or for you privacy policy which is duplicate content or not necessary for Google to see.

SiteRubix website will get rank, but it takes time. The free websites are owned by Wealthy Affiliate. If you transfer or move it to your own domain, you are actually own it. It depends on you.

I purchased my own domain and I'm in the process of building a new website. You're right I deleted it right away (silly me I got excited and totally forget what I was doing). Hi Kyle, thank you for your message. After research a plenty affiliate networks and affiliate programs online about my pass, interests, need and wants, I make up my mind to promote WA first. Then come the next. Now, I get rolling with Bootcamp Level 3
One thing is my website theme support top and left side bar menu,but I want to make it top and right side bar. I follow the video tutorial in Bootcamp Level 2, lesson 7,but not work out. Any thing different between left or right side bar.

Some menus will not support right side bars, it really depends on the theme that you have chosen. You might want to consider choosing a different theme if you are not in love with your current theme.
You can change your theme at any time within your WP-admin:
Appearance => Themes
There are over 3,000 to choose from there and you will also be able to upload your own from there.

Last night, I did keyword research about my niche " make money at home dads" My result is " Avg < 10, Traffic <10, SQR 1, and SEO 88" If this niche will work or not? Today, I will finish keyword research and go to lesson 8 today.

Hi Nathaniell, thank you so much. I plan to complete lesson 9 in this weekend. I would like to know when I have to upgrade to Premium level because I do not want to loose my momentum. After I upgrade to PM, I make up my mind to complete at least level 4 or all level in December. For better result, how many hour per day I have to work on these lesson. I am ready to commit full time because I am on my mini- retirement schedule ( 2 year retire). Any suggestion?

Hi Nathaniell, Thank you so much. My niche is " Make Money at Home Dad". Simply put, starting from next 2 years, I would to help my family and friend and other people like me. This niche is the most interesting for me because this is always my dream job and I feel like this is my career.I have other niches as well. Please leave a comment for me. Helping dads make money at home is perfect! You can target your content to a "manly" audience, and talk about what it's like being a dad working from home, or trying to work from home. Dads share similar experiences, so they will be able to relate to your website and articles. Good work!
