Although it may not impact our google ranking, it is always a good decision to try our best at using proper grammar to enhance our visitor's experience. Thanks for pointing this out to us.

True, my friend. Whatever this millionaire is trying to say, we still need to ensure minimal grammatical error to ensure our operation is smooth sailing.

At the end of the day, he is not the one that writing a content like we are doing on daily basis now, lol.

I think we all should do the best we can, but few if any can achieve 100% accuracy when writing. It does reflect on how the reader thinks as they read through your content.

For me, it is a time versus benefit thing. I am willing to spend some time doing a couple of edits (and need to because of bad eyes) and get most of the errors...

More than that it is cutting into the time I have for doing other things. If I can achieve 95% accuracy or more, the time to get it a few % points higher is just not worth it.

Obviously, as you write more, you get better at it. You will find that often it only takes one edit to get to that acceptable point.

Cheers!
Dave : )

One good case study, idea, and exercise guide for me, sir. Thanks for this great feedback!

I think grammar can be ... complicated. My English way of spelling is different to American English spelling and as Google and Bing are American, there's going be words that are considered errors. I'm hoping that the gist of the word and the sentence it's contained therein, gets the job done!

Yes, we are lucky to get to know Members from all over the world. In a more respectful way, I am more than agree most of us finding grammar stuff at times can be difficult. But here we are, online buddies, that have a different set of ideas and respective aspiration but in same common goals to succeed. We try our level best dealing with this grammar issue and be the best we can.

Good Morning Afqm,

Being a foreigner and English not being my mother tongue I did install Grammarly on my computer. It is just the normal free version and they do want me to upgrade to Premium which I will not do for the moment.
Grammarly does correct me a lot but I have seen that they make mistakes too, using Grammarly means you will still have to use your brain and not always accept their suggestions.
The better your English is the more pleasant your visitor will find reading your posts, if your English is too bad they will probably leave your site.

Have a great weekend, Taetske

Thanks for your great feedback, my friend. I share your same thought here. English also not my mother tongue and some other time I can speak and write well, some other time if "the balance" out of the way, more haywire too from me, lol.

But this is the language that I am keen to learn and to know since I was 7. Back then, it was due to my interest in football and once I decided to choose Man Utd over Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Everton to follow, I got no other way than to learn the language.

Let's try our level best and use whatever tools available to us to ensure our grammar stuff error in minimizing effects.

Greetings, afqm.biz

Hi Taetske,
Your writings show no indication that English isn't your primary language. Being multilingual seems so difficult to me....I visualize a mental maze happening when you speak English...all kinds of different pathways going on in your brain. Lol......

Good evening Debbie,

You know, one thing is to learn a foreign language at an early age.
Also when you have to speak it, like what happened to me when I came to Spain in 1974. I had done 8 months in France and 5 years in Italy and then suddenly I had to speak Spanish. I was working as a tourist guide for a German company so I had to know the language to be able to speak up for my clients. I was 24 at that time and then it is a lot easier.
My neuron paths ways seem to be ok with languages but Oh, dear me, this technical stuff........
I hope you are keeping well.

Have a great weekend, Taetske

p.s. and you are right, sometimes I do not know what language I am speaking, a real cocktail.

Nice one! Thanks!

My friend, Taetske, with all of her experience and knowledge in languages and as a multilingual person is actually benefitting more of this capability.

I knew what it feels when all kind and different pathways are surging down our brain system. A few years back, I can't take it.

Over the years after, with some tune training (yes, it is difficult to do), to be in this kind of brain situation is a wonderful feeling!

I can't describe it but in a space of minutes, now often happen to me that six to ten totally different stuff to think and do are crossing their path in my brain and cruising well.

Thanks for the clarification. Jay

Thanks and welcome, friend.

IMHO, using really bad grammar is disrespectful to your readers. While absolutely correct grammar isn't required for most writing, the grammar does need to be at least reasonably correct. Otherwise, it impedes getting your message across.

I once got a proofreading job at a local newspaper by including these sentences in my application:

I have been known to sometimes split an infinitive. I'm fully aware., though, that a preposition is a bad thing to end a sentence with.

Fortunately, the hiring editor picked up on my twisted sense of humor.

Hahaha, nice one, sir. Thanks!

I always try to use good grammar.

That's good.

Not everything is about Google. I believe quite a lot of people who come to the site will shut it down because of the poor grammar. It looks very unprofessional and undermines the trust of the readers.

Thanks and welcome for your good point of view. At the end of the day, we have to ensure zero grammatical error. We are just a fish in a small pond that swims in a huge pond.

Personally, It drives me crazy when the grammar and punctuation are bad enough for me to notice. Of course, this means it needs to be really bad because I'm not great at it myself.

At the same time, I know that I am not good at this so I always use Grammarly on everything that I write. There really is no reason to have plain as day mistakes when it is this easy to correct them and it is free.

I have seen emails from CEO's with mistakes that I would never make. It's just laziness to not use the tools that are readily available.

Yes, I agree with your honest point of view, sir. I am also not that good in grammar as a whole. Good to have a friend in Grammarly and others.

Above all, not everybody is so perfect in grammar stuff but here we are to minimize all the shortcomings when comes to our grammar,
