I'm trying...really trying to get this Pinterest POS under control, but I'm having issues. I'm trying to add WA content to Pinterest. Here's my process:

1. Go to WA content I want to add, in this case Getting Started Level 1 - Understanding how to make money online

2. There is an image there correct?

3. I grab the affiliate link, like I've been instructed to

4. Go over to Pinterest and click on the +, then "pin from a website"

5. It tells me

6. I'm looking at the site! There's a freaking image right there! What the heck?!?

Please...can someone help?

He Grandma I just don't understand the organizationl structure of Pinterest. I see what is for but I don't have a clue how to organize it. Can you help me out.

You start organizing a Pinterest by making the decision what boards you want wish to use. The boards you make are a description of things on your website or your interests. I have several boards on Pinterest. I have one for my book which I market all the time and I have one for my family and I have one for a different interests I have. I also have one for marketing and copy writing. When you create a blog on your website using the social icons that you have program there you send the picture from your blog you're heading picture to Pinterest and you select the board you wish to place it on depending on the subject of the block. Then you go into Pinterest and make sure your posting goes back to your website when people click on it. That is the way you get people interested in your website by the pictures they see in Pinterest. You can also use Canva to make your own Pinterest posts which will actually fit into the Pinterest newsfeed in a way that will draw attention to them and those also should re-direct back to your website. Wealthy affiliate has many to tutorials on Pinterest that people have done. go to the search bar at the top of this message area and type in tutorial on Pinterest or some-such thing or how do I use Pinterest and you will see tons of things for which you can choose from.If you wish to contact me directly send me a personal message and I will try to give you more detailed help. Blessings to you.

I finally got it thanks. I did a youtube video and the lady was great. She explained just like you did. By the way that was a marvelous explanation thanks.

when you add to pinterest you must add from a post or separate pic. If you add a separate pic then you must edit the info to go back to your website. If you pin from a blog post within your site, it will automatically go back to your site. you cannot use a WA link on Pinterest as they consider that spam. It must be a link to your blog.

Thanks ton! Got it! You're the best for sharing!

It would be better to have an image from your website the add a description in there so they can go to your site and view from there hope that makes sense

Sure does Katie...I believe I have "come to an understanding" with Pinterest and no longer feel that it hates me...LOL

Hi Cherie

I too noticed the videos were out of date. I think it's been approximately 2 years since Pinterest changed their linking structure. You'll have to write a post about the WA page. Use the image in your own post then pin it!

Quite a drawn out process!

Kind Regards

Michelle

P.s your site is looking really good!

Thanks for the info Michelle...it is long and drawn out. But at least we know I'm NOT going crazy!LOL

Thanks for the kind words about my site. *blush*
