I've embedded a video in one of my posts. How do I remove it?

To remove a video from your website, just go to you editor text page. locate it, copy/paste it, then delete it.

You can't embed a video in a WA post. Do you mean a post on your website?

Exactly - a video I embedded in my post on my website.

Just remove the code you added when you embedded the video.

Thanks Marion. Worked like a charm.

Thanks, Marion, I just learned as well. I did not understand this eighter. Apparently, I gave the wrong answer. Thanks for correcting my response. Thanks for helping.
Sandy

I would use my edit feature in WordPress and delete it. If you still need help just let me know. Some themes and page builder may work differently

Thank you.

If it is yours in a training you go to the training and delete it there

Thank you Vickic

you are welcome

When I'm editing, it works just like a picture. I click on it and then click the X to delete it or hit my delete button.

I hope it works the same for you!

Got it. Thanks a lot.

Hey guys,
I just started bootcamp again and although my dormain name was Available, I discovered later that it was, in fact, already being used.
Is this possible and how

You may have for example: mydomain dot com and mydomain dot org and mydomain dot net
The names are the same.
Is it what you are asking for?

Thanks for your help. Problem resolved.

The pleasure is mine.

I believe the comments below are correct

Hi, I agree with Avecita that once a domain name (URL) is purchased, it is not available to anyone else. Now, the same domain name can be used but with a different .XXX. Here at WA we look for the .com, .net, or .org if these extensions are available. However, only one person can own a .com, .net, or .org or any other domain.

If you should experience an issue with your domain as being owned by more than one person, you need to contact the company where you purchased the domain from. They need to tell you who actually owns the domain and gets charged the annual fee.

George

Thanks George for your kind assistance.

A domain is a specific address. 2 websites can't occupy 1 domain. So if you find one you like that says available, buy it and it's yours :)

So True. Thanks for your help.

No problem

Hiya, that's interesting. Are you sure that nothing, not even one character or a dash or something was different? Because once a domain is registered, you should not be able to have it showing as available. So not sure what went on there, but if it's already in use by someone else, then you'll have to alter yours slightly or think of a new site name.

Thanks Avecita,
You are correct. Upon double-checking, I discovered the difference - just one letter. Now I shall have to copy/paste my posts/pages to my new site. Thanks again for your assistance.

You're welcome. : )
