Is there a recommended source(s) and method for getting video on to specific pages?
If you are talking about youtube videos, you click on the share button under the video, then the embed button, then put that entire link in the text side of your editor and the video will be there
you cna drop the embed code from Youtube by clicking the share button below the video.
In WP, drop the embed code copied from Youtube into yuor HTML and yuo are all set.

I previously published a post on a page and have since decided that I want to move it to new page. I would like to remove it from the previous page. How can I do that?
Do know that you lose eventual ranking on that page while doing so.
Also you can also enable comments for pages in most cases, if that was the main reason to change between them.
Posts and pages are not the same and they distinguished between in your dashboard. Pages are of the more static nature and tend not to change too much, such like: about you, privacy policy and general info about your site. Posts are used to build out your website content, being relevant to your website niche. If you go to your dashboard, pages you can trash this page. And if you want to keep the contents, you copy it and paste it into a posts, then you trash that page.

Perhaps you created it as a post. If so, it will appear under All Posts.
