Account disabled at book of faces! - UPDATED!
My account is open again...for the time being.
There was no fanfare, no email to alert me to the account being reopened, blame it on the habit of clicking the icon, and Voila, my account was opened...
But not for long...FB has become bot-happy, and they have been knocking on my personal browser's door.
Yeah, uh, no...not happening..

Yep, got up later than usual this morning, checked my email using my phone, and the first one was from Facebook.
They have disabled my account, and now I must ask them to do a review within 30 days.
Apparently, I have offended someone with my content. Apparently, I have violated their 'community standards'...
Uh, hello? Has anybody actually seen my fb account?? (sarcasm).
I write the most vanilla content, my pages over 'there' are aligned with my art, my photography, and my affiliate page - working from home'.
So, once I grab my freshly brewed coffee, I will open my email and click the link they provided (yes, I check for phishing, my account IS disabled...), and see what I need to do...
Has anyone else ever had their account disabled at the book of faces? How did you get it resolved?

isn't Facebook called FakeBook? This is why I hate FB-alleged term, "FakeBook." I only use it for family stuff. If I do the business side, I am pretty sure that FakeBook will close my account immediately. FakeBook is not a good place to market or cater to unless you pay them for their ads, this is probably why they are cracking down on people who use FB or FB Groups for marketing and recruiting for both MLM and Affiliate Marketing and that violates their Terms of Services. They prefer you to pay for the ads and even your ads can be turned down as well. You have to constantly change your ads to get approval. Nasty, It takes a lot of work to do that all that. Why bother. FakeBook waste of my time. Sorry it happened to you but it doesn't surprise me at all. Many are more successful with IG. IG I use more but I don't advertise either. But I do see a lot of marketing company using their IG account not paid ads so eventually they will get the ban if their TOS is violated and often times they do not tell you why or what the reason is. Some of those social media will say its "considered terrorism violation." Creepy. Gives you no reason at all for why your account gets banned.
I agree. As I said, this is a blessing in disguise...email marketing was successful way before the book of faces appeared...
My Instagram accounts fare much better...

Hello, so sorry to hear that, and I know how frustrating it can be. You see, Facebook has been under great pressure from many nations on unending allegations. They have become more strict on a lot of things and I think that has its positive sides too for the good of us all. Anyway, just be patient, it shall be restored, I believe.
Yeah, and I only joined fb last year, due to a previously joined program's suggestion.
But I want it to be my choice to delete account, not theirs.
And the account never disappears, BTW, no matter what they tell you...

All I can say is don't hold your breath waiting for them to enable it again.
I asked for a review and the first reply was "Due to Covid......yada yada.. this will take a little longer than usual"
I think It took about three weeks, maybe longer because by the time I received notification my account was enabled again, I had forgotten about it.

I'm sorry to hear this because they can be so difficult to communicate with. Perhaps that has improved now??
I had a similar experience.
Very early on I'd opened an account and hardly used it.
When I came to use it a few years later I had forgotten my password and the email address I had been using was no longer usable because the provider had closed down. The email address was the only method they had for resurrection at that time. After a couple of months of trying to sort it out, both myself directly and through correspondence, I gave up and set up a new account, with FB permission (or so I thought).
About 18 months later they blocked my second account on the grounds that they don't allow more than one account.
The due process eventually led to common sense and both accounts still exist although the old account can't be accessed!

I have not had my account disabled, but I do have them constantly removing products from their store saying I do not meet their guidelines. It is very frustrating as their guidelines are very general, so you cannot figure out exactly what the problem is, all you can do is rewrite the description and then resubmit and wait for them to remove it again.

Yeah, I chose to download my account and store it.
At least I I will have my pictures that were posted.
Then I'll be done with them.
