About me
As I was doing some research I came across an article that reminded me that I hadn't placed an About me page on my new website. The writer of the article HATES it when the About Me page is missing. She goes on to make a point that if she didn't wan't to know about the blog creator, then she'd pick up a magazine.
So, that is what I worked on today, instead of going to a job fair. Oops! Yes, I feel a little guilty, but I still have a few tricks up my sleeve that are long term financial solutions. I just don't want to cash them out yet.
Back to topic.
As a rule, I try to create a totally new, but similar, About me page. My point is to give the reader a reward (something different and new about me) for checking out my new site.

I'll beef it up a bit! Make it a little more obvious. Right now I just have them as links in my content.

I think your About Me page is great Beth. One thing that I do find with your website though is that if I ever want to take action on something, I am jumping from page to page.
Ex. I read your content and I am ready to create my own blog, then what? This is where you really want to have some intent within your content, getting them closer to taking an action that will benefit you (signing up to WA).
When someone is done reading your post they are going to ask themselves "now what".
At this point you need to have intent and get them to do something, whether this be comment on your post (leave feedback), check out your top recommended product, or to perform some other action. If you don't give them something to do, they will most likely close your site and never come back...which is pure traffic leak.
