What Am I doing?
What do you think I’m doing?
Cooking lunch and having a good time, for sure.
But I am also researching for my new website .
The Lazy Athlete is all about personal experience.
Because that is what I am. A lazy athlete and there are a LOT of people like me.
And I wanted to see if Google would treat me differently for providing real stuff about me and what I’m doing or the AI generated , almost plagagaristic stuff that most of us use.
My new site has only been up for a couple of months and is already indexed and my posts are also getting found quicker as well.
It might be pure chance, but if you think about it. When you want information, what do you look for. For me, I want personal experience and hands on material by someone who has done it.
I started my new site by putting up a very unflattering video of me with some serious ” love handles”
Then I have added info about what exercises I have done and am working on a section for just using health apps.
lol, I used to be “ butter me” now I’m using “ better me” and am working through several other apps as well. Then rating them and giving personal experience.
And my home cooking leads on to the type of stoves that can be used, anything from Samsung AI blogger ovens, ( yes they are a thing, blog from your oven) to a small bench top oven that I used today.
I can talk about, I know it, I can sell it.
And then I can talk about cameras for food pictures etc. Or smart health watches .
And when you do your own work your ideas will run rampant as you are doing it daily and not sucking on the teat of AI.
AI is great, but we are better. Make use of that gray matter between our ears. lol, my wife just said “earwax”

I think you will do well with this idea. You are brave, showing your handles to the public. If that doesn't scream authentic, what does? I look forward to hearing about how this goes for you, Stephen.

The food looks great!
I tend to agree about AI. I use it; select my subject, then find a keyword and write my own headline. I generate a headline and a story. Then I do some research on the topic on my own, and use that plus I want to keep from the AI written material and write my post. The ideas and a bit of the phrasing is from AI, but for the most part, it's my own writing. I am capable of writing so use AI for suggestions. The outline is helpful, and I may use some of their section headings, but I want the story to be in my own voice!

When I started using the AI tools I was willing to let it do its own thing, but know I strictly monitor what is written . I think you end up with a better end result.
