I am Getting Blown Away.
I Have Been Slack.
I confess that I am not big on checking how many visitors i get or where I rank in Google.
I took my learning here at wealthy affiliate like an apprenticeship or a trade. Even though I am a teacher, that is what i relate to. I was a printer by trade, with ink under my nails and ink in my veins.
I have a sincere love of the printed page and for me, one of the best smells in the world is a new book. it is like the smell of newborn knowledge.
I have a somewhat Kafkaesque view on life which I cover up with woeful wit and a lack of wisdom, so you could knock me down with a feather when I found out that one of my websites is pulling in just under 9,000 readers per month.
And this website is one that lately I have been doing very little with, albeit I add at least one post per month.
So, it looks to me that if you have enough posts and they are at least readable level ( Not necessarily to the level of a Conrad or even a Murakami ) you will eventually get enough readers to make your site able to be monetized.
Keep On Truckin...
My message would be to just "Keep on truckin" or in our case "Keep on Writing"
As Kyle has always said, just keep on writing....And keep getting blown away.

I have the same confession to make - I haven't been spending as much time as I should reviewing the traffic to my site or my rankings like I should however, I have noticed that when I write more, my traffic numbers are up and when I become a slacker, the numbers go down!
That response is serving as motivation for me to write more and generally, spend more time on my website, and your post gave me the kick in the pants I need to keep moving in that direction!
Im not perfect but I do try and keep writing. I think if that is all we do, the numbers will come...then monetization.

5) Analyze data- Use analytics tools to measure the success of your strategies and optimize for better results.
These are just a few steps to make sure that you are getting the most out of Wealthy Affiliate and your online business. By taking these steps, you will continue to create content that wins.

WOW, now that takes me back to my fourth full time job as photo copy operator with the Xerox Corporation . I wouldn't have given it any thought that writing and posting would be something very useful to me at the present time. Technology and Creating Websites have really caught up with me as well. Who would thought, anyway thanks for sharing and keep on writing.

this is encouraging Zoops. I absolutely love my niche area, it's my passion wanting to encourage everyone to ride a bike starting as soon as they can walk and to provide parents/educators/carers with all the information and help they need. At the moment, I just try to write great stuff that helps others, the rewards are secondary
