How to Make Columns in Block Editor with no Plugin
1. When writing a new post in your website's dashboard, go to the top left-hand corner, and click on the blue plus symbol.
2. This will bring up a selection of actions that you can use. Scroll down to design and you will see the 2nd one is "columns"
3. Click on columns and that will bring up the above column selection. Select the layout you want. I went 50/50.
4. You will have one column on the left-hand side where you can type or add an image etc.
5. And one on the right-hand side, when you click on the space, where you can also add your image or type in etc etc.
Pretty easy really. but I know some people don't know it ....so there you go. Hooplah.
P.S. Be careful because if and when you delete your column, all the information goes to the 5th dimension and you will never get it back.
Power to the People, lol.

I have yet to transition to the block editor, and I know I have to because WP is getting ready to ditch the classic completely. Thanks for the lesson.
