Popeye-time for a hair cut
Had a comment today from Abie asking if I was okay. Thank you, Abie I am, I've just been a wee bit busy at work.
It looks like we are going to be busy over the Christmas period. We are praying there won't be another lock down.
Finally got a photograph of Popeye, the culprit that head butted me into the post.
Well, today he put on a bit of a chase for me and I wasn't fast enough to put the noose over his head. He trusts Stuart, probably because he is a male and of course Stuart walked right up to him and put is over his head and walked him out of the pen. Yeah right, so that's how you do it!
Popeye is in need of shearing and one of the farmers volunteered to give him a hair cut. He is a Marino and his fleece will be sold and the money donated to the church. Popeye's contribution for being such a pain.
While we were waiting for one of the farmer's shearers to turn up with the trailer. Popeye decided he wanted to wander over the Beccy's plants. Thank goodness I had him on a leash!
Finally after half an hour of pulling him away from the plants, the shearer turned up and we put Popeye on the back of the trailer. He will get his hair cut and arrive back here tomorrow morning, bright and early for me to take another photo.
In the mean time we are now having to contend with Billy having separation anxiety from Popeye. He is bleating non-stop. I wonder if I will get some sleep tonight.
Today I also decided to paint the office windows, they were a horrible heritage green. Very depressing they were. I've just got another coat of paint to put on and they will be finished.

Time to go and cook dinner, we are going to have butter chicken.

Hi Yvonne, I hope it all goes well with Popeye and nice looking paint job by the way!
Hope you enjoyed the butter chicken.
Great to hear from you Yvonne and about Popeye too. I hope all goes well with his haircut. Best wishes for the Christmas period and I hope and pray for you it doesn't result in a lockdown.
Blessings
Tracy
Thank you so much, Tracy. Everything will be fine with Popeye thank you. On the 14th of December, South Australia will relax, yeah! All the best for Christmas!
Good Morning Yvonne,
I smiled when I read your post, the first one this morning.
Animals, even if they sometimes cause stress, are normally very helpful in stressful times. When I have little Jasmin waiting at the office window after a hunting night, I know my world at least is ok.
Greetings from the south of Spain,

Good Morning to you Taeske! It's evening here. Thank you for replying, I agree animals are the best until they misbehave, like children in a way. Hahaha!

Sounds exciting, Yvonne! Dinner sounds good too! Can't wait to see Popeye with his haircut!

Neither can I. I reckon his wool will be a nice donation for the local church.
That's awfully nice of you, Yvonne!👍👍
