As a writer and a cruciverbalist, I've spent many years pursuing my dreams of making a living online. I truly love writing for children, but I also enjoy applying my talents to the Christian Romance genre.

When my children were very small and as they grew, we enjoyed regular periods of "Writing Time," together. It was in this way that I first began to see my works in print. Writing Time was for all of us. Each person (I have four children, all within a very short age difference) was encouraged to do whatever they enjoyed the most during that time, whether that included writing (in the beginning, it was scribbling), drawing, reading or any other constructive activity that involved a desired talent.

Over the years, each of my children has, by degrees, become very good at both writing and art. Today, they each have turned out some amazing work for schools, state projects, private works and works for various businesses. I have also managed to get published. I've been an assistant editor on an online site and I have been published in newspapers across the country.

My greatest joy is when I am working with my family on projects that help others. We've had many such projects and I hope to be able to continue helping others through writing, cruciverbalism and whatever other means I can find. I also hope to be able to learn enough to make a living from this website and to be able to help others do the same.

I thought I'd just add a little to my Bio, as I am a bit concerned that I may offend someone. If you are following me or, you have made a comment to somethin' I've said, anywhere on WA, please know that I am running as fast as I can to be sure I respond to everyone an' follow you, as well.

I will do everything in my power to follow you, if you are following me; not just because you are following, but because I would really like to get to know you, over time.

I wish each an' every one of you the greatest degree of prosperity an' success in your business an' in life, in general. My heart is with you an' my best hope is that every single person on here achieves the best possible life for ever an' always.

I promise ~ ~ ~ I am trying to catch up! Don't give up on me, if I haven't made contact with you, yet. Hopefully... you aren't so far ahead that I won't be able to find you. *Smile*

Thank you for understanding, my friends. :)
Warmly,
~ Yaya

Your goals are very similar to those of my husband and I. $5,000 per month would more than double our income, but we need it for retirement.

Your goals are very achievable and the fact that you are willing to dedicate whatever it takes to reach those goals shows your dedication. Follow the lessons to the letter, and I know you will be successful. Remember to always ask for help if you get stuck, and do not skip ANY steps. I wish you great success!

Hi Grant!
It's great to meet you!
Whoa! Have you ever noticed how closely your parents named you to that wonderful word, "Great"? You should thank 'em, sometime. They obviously expected great things of you.

Wishing you the best in your journey forward. :)

Hi, Yaya!

It's a pleasure to meet you. Cruciverbalist is a new word for me. Thanks for adding to my vocabulary.

I enjoyed reading about writing time with your family, what a wonderful concept. Truly, we are living in the Writer's Golden Age. Writing skills plus online marketing skills equals unlimited earning potential.

I'm here for you,
Gary

Hi Gary,

I'm glad you wanna' know what that word means. I must admit to a bit of cryptic-luring, as few people DO know what that word is. I love throwing it out there to lure people into asking. I beg your pardon if that is a bit uncouth. I love words an' this is a favorite.

Okay, it's time to quit taunting you an' let you know why I like the word so much. You see, many years ago, I was intrigued by how people could make word games, such as crosswords, word searches, cryptograms an' so many types of word games, so I set out to learn.
After many years of doing that an' even selling some of my games, I heard on one of Paul Harvey's shows what a person who does that is called. Someone who either enjoys Playing many of those games OR who Creates those games is called a cruciverbalist. So, suddenly... after enjoying a craft that I had basically taught myself, I learned that I even had a Title. THAT, my friend, was one of the Proudest days of my life because when I started out, I did not know there was a title to go along with the rest of the fun. :D (Hmmmm; no emoji's to go along with the conversation? I'm not complaining, mind you... just happened to notice it when I looked for a grin.)

As to writing time with the kiddoes... well, I always wanted to be a mama an' I always wanted to be a writer. Separating the two was not something that ever interested me because I love both an' I didn't wanna' give up or be away from either one. Naturally, my creative juices kicked in an' that's what I came up with. :)

Now, I'm looking forward an' anxious to learn the online marketing skills you mentioned. I do have some challenges in the way of learning, so I might be a bit slow at it, but that doesn't mean that I'm a quitter. Having struggled with Dyslexia and Adult ADD, I have learned to find creative ways to overcome obstacles. I'm looking forward to what this challenge will bring an' how my creative thinking will charge into battle.

Yes, we certainly ARE living in the "Writer's Golden Age" an' I, for one, refuse to let a little thing like a learner's stumbling block keep me from my goals.

Thank you for your kind offer of help. I truly appreciate it!

Hi, Yaya!

I misread Cruciverbalist at first and mentally interpreted it as a cruciferous herbalist. A Google search set me straight.

I'm sure you will do well here. The training is organized so you can progress at your own pace. The trick is to commit to your success and never quit.

Ah! Now, you have taught ME a new word. That's one for you an' one for me. Looks like words are a fun thing for many of us. I love it that when two of my grandchildren were small an' started to recognize words, it was fun to watch them. People always watched as the little ones would seem to almost "Chew" on a new word an' test it with their tongue, embracing its meaning. Soon thereafter, that new word would be used in a proper sentence. A person never gets tired of watching somethin' like that. Haha

The only word I never heard my granddaughter use in a sentence was 'entrails.' I guess that's fair, though. A toddler doesn't get a lot of opportunity to insert the word 'entrails' into normal conversation. :D

Trust me... I've spent a lot of years trying to learn. I just can't see myself giving up the quest. That is, not short of crossing through the veil. Hopefully, that's a long way into the future. Haha
