This Is What I Do To Grow My Pinterest

Hello everyone! Today, I wanted to share what I do personally that makes my Pinterest grow.

I have heard that people had some frustration with Pinterest. And I understand them. But I have noticed something that made my Pinterest grow, almost instantly.

I have experimented a bit with it, and this is what I have concluded.

So here are my Pinterest stats:

You can see it has been going down a bit, and that might have to do with I forgot to publish a few posts, ops. But I will sort that out.

Do you see those spikes? I know that those were the days I published a few posts.

And, simple, that is what worked very well for me. I published a lot of Pinterest posts.

And I published maybe 10, or 5 or something in between that. But that is what worked well for me, and I don't really need to schedule it out. I try to just pump out a bunch of posts, just out of curiosity, and it worked fine.

I know that consistency, and publish regularly, is going to help. I just wanted to bring up that point that, for me, publishing a lot of Pinterest posts, has worked well for me to get more outbound clicks (a few months ago I had 0). And engagement.

That was it. And I want to say that I have noticed that Pinterest doesn't work for everyone. But this is what worked for me.

Hope you found it helpful, take care! :)

I kinda gave up on Pinterest. Now I will try again.

Here is some inspiration for you!

Thank you

I just love quotes! :)

Try again, but it does depend on your niche as well. If it isn't popular, stick with other platforms.

Well done and yes I need to get back into the groove of things with Pinterest. Have neglected it a bit but still getting saves from some pins thought not the ones I would like most.
Better than nothing.

Wishing you continued success

Andre

Hey Andre! Sorry for the late reply.

And yes, I think Pinterest is an amazing platform, but still, the niche plays a big role. But you can give it a try, it won't hurt your business really.

I appreciate your intention to help, Jonathan, but your stats are not conclusive in any way.

I don't mean to come across as a party pooper โ€” my aim is to share some realistic thoughts rather than leave the typical "Great job" or "Unbelievable!" comments that WA members tend to get when there's really nothing much to rejoice about.

I hope you appreciate this. You're a hardworking guy. You don't just want empty compliments, right?

Here's the thing. A couple of months ago, I gave up on Pinterest.

My niche is chess, which is much more intellectual than visual. I hadn't been getting enough impressions or clicks that made it worthwhile for me to invest time and effort into designing pins and publishing regularly.

Screenshot 1 shows my stats over the last 3 months. Notice how there's a massive dip which happened around the time when I quit.

But notice also how my impressions started increasing recently. I had been publishing nothing at all โ€” literally 0 pins for around two months, and my impressions started growing again!

Why? For absolutely no reason.

There are many, many variables other than your publishing frequency that determine how well your pins do. For example, in my case, there may be some sort of trend that is making my niche a little more popular in this time of year.

Screenshot 2 shows my stats over the last month. I wasn't getting 25 outbound clicks even back when I was very active on Pinterest!

In fact, the number of clicks convinced me to make a Pinterest comeback. I started publishing again a few days ago.

It may be worthy of note that even back when I was active on Pinterest, I used to publish a maximum of one pin a day. I agree that consistency helps, but 5-10 pins a day isn't necessarily the right game plan.

You make a very good point when you say that Pinterest doesn't work for everyone.

There's a large element of randomness and sometimes we try too hard to draw conclusions and learning points.

I appreciate the tips. I know that my stats isnโ€™t maybe the most convincing, but for me that is what have worked out good. But that was something interesting to know too, thanks.

And some niches work better then others, so I understand your choice of having up on Pinterest

Im doing the same thing. I changed my pins to make it pop out more. I encourage you to talk to Andy Calvin about this. He has so many beautiful ideas on how to improve your pins.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will reach out to him, and see what he has to say. Thanks, hope you will have some success with Pinterest!

He sure is!

Wow, Jonathan! Very well done, my friend!

Jeff

Thank you very much Jeff!

No, my friend--thank YOU!

Jeff
