Momentum in the Online World
I read a blog yesterday or the day before by @AriefWibowo about momentum and how he loves physics and he explained the formula for momentum, which is p = m * v or momentum is equal to mass times velocity.
His blog inspired me to write my own formula, but for fun to change the variables to relate to our efforts in the online world. I played around with a number of ideas but I chose this one:
R = E * K
R = Results
E = Effort
K = Knowledge
If you think of it this way, here at WA they provide you with the knowledge to succeed in your online venture. You have training courses, tutorials and awesome support as well as the tools such as WordPress.
The key you need to contribute is the effort, the effort to watch the tutorials, the effort to take the training courses and the effort to actually build your site and add content.
If you study and study and learn and learn but never take action or put forth effort, your results will be low. If you expend massive effort but didn't bother with acquiring the knowledge by taking the courses or doing keyword research and watching tutorials your results will also be low.
The key is to keep expending effort and keep acquiring knowledge in a balanced fashion and your results, your online momentum, will be maximized.
So, AriefWibowo thanks for triggering this chain or thought!
Sincerely,
Xin
