My Black Friday Investments
For this year's Black Friday, I decided to invest rather than just spend. I traded my usual purchases of gifts and "things on sale I don't need" for useful building blocks for the future.
- $299 annual premium deal: Kyle and Carson are smart to compare this offer to less than the cost of a cup of coffee/day. I usually go for Starbucks so if I switch to Tim Horton's or make it at home does that make it free?
- $30 for a second-hand tripod for producing YouTube videos for my online business
- $95 registration fee to become an Arbonne consultant (a network marketing company in the health and wellness industry), which will be supplementing my income, part-time.
I feel good about spending $425 towards my life goal of becoming a financially independent person.
I'm excited for the challenges ahead. Bring it on 2014!

2014, the most exciting year yet! : )
So wonderful to have you on board here at WA and your investment (total) of $425 with your equipment is fractional to any other education, however you have everything you need and more here at WA to build a business of any size that you like.
I look forward to working with you in the year ahead!
Hi Kyle, I can't thank you enough for bringing such high quality content and infusing amazing energy into WA everyday. I'm so grateful to be surrounded by fantastic, like-minded people everyday. To a great year ahead and beyond :)
That's awesome Xiang! It is definitely a great investment for our futures. I intend to make the next year way better than where I am now. I'm glad to see many people are taking a great investment in themselves. all the best to you in the coming year and beyond!
Hey Robert, thanks so much for the encouragement! A big part of my motivation comes from the fact that I am surrounded by like-minded people like yourself. All the best in your projects too for the next year!
Good moves! Similarly, I went yearly with WAU & got a nice very compact Sony tape recorder from Walmart. When I go to McDonalds or am driving I listen to good stuff from Kyle, Jay and others motivators including Tony Robbins etc. A great learning tool! THX Larry
Hey Larry, what a great idea! How does the recording work? You would record their training and put it in MP3 format?
