Hey everyone! My name is Robert. I'm very excited to be part of this community!
Well a little bit about me. I'm 23 years old. I've done sports ever since I was 4 years old when I started playing soccer. Later on I ventured into basketball and football as well, and in high school I joined a powerhouse cross country and track team and enjoyed much success there. I love to watch sports and blog about them. I'm into exercise and nutrition, and I'm also part of a network marketing business called vemma, which is a company that has seen explosive growth during the past 12 months.
My reason for joining Wealthy Affiliate is because growing up, all I ever knew was poverty. My family on both sides have always been poor, and I've grown up in a bad area around people who've gotten themselves in a lot of trouble with the law and with gangs. My parents have done everything they can to keep me away from that stuff by teaching me by example and working extra hours to send me to a good private high school which formed my values and ideals.
I'm now in college, and I want to be able to pay them back for everything they've done for me. It breaks my heart seeing my parents come home exhausted from a hard day of work and I want to be able to help them retire. I have a passion for helping people and nurturing them, and my mom even has told me stories that when I was 3 I would put a blanket on her when she would take a nap so she wouldn't feel cold lol. I feel like at my young age with no kids, I have the perfect opportunity to really make changes to my life and build up a successful business to help out others who are tired of the 9-5 grind and want more out of life. I joined Vemma because it is an amazing nutritional company with great products to help people lose weight and look and feel healthier. Because let's face it, when we get sick with the flu or some other bad illness, it's the worst feeling in the world and we'll do anything to get our health back. Obesity is such a dangerous problem in our society, and I want to help reverse these trends and help people develop healthy habits and make money while doing so!
I have a website called gymratsden.com in which I blog about sports and other random stuff. As I have gotten further into my sports career, I realized that sports and nutrition go hand in hand. Believe me, I've tried to succeed in athletics off of fast food and it doesn't work haha. My goal is to combine my vemma business with my sports blogging talents and make lots of money not only for myself, but for anyone who wants to join my team!!
I'm looking forward to working with everyone in the community! Let's do this!!!
